This feels in the works for a while. Especially with shitty agreements like Monster
Sources: Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark is leaving the conference. Yormark made the decision to leave and is expected to accept a new role outside of college sports in the near future. He’ll be with the league at least through January of 2027.

The SEC stacked its league with brands and money. Its fans now have to live with the losses while the Big 12 keeps getting stronger. x.com/i/article/2111…

lol now also mention the records and what he was given to start. They took big steps back each year..he won division titles in an awful division. But yeah, the Astros are bad guys for this.. 🙄
Joe Espada, who guided the Houston Astros to two American League West titles in his three seasons as manager, will not be returning to the team in 2027. spr.ly/6013BHHDQJ

I spoke with Martin Maldonado, who is currently in an advisory role with the Braves, and he would like to return to the dugout with a team.
He remains interested in coaching and is open to the right opportunity if one becomes available.

6.00 ERA, 4.83 career ERA and he’s talking like this? Some players voices carry weight, Bennett Sousa isn’t one of those guys, he does carry a 1.800 WHIP though.
Get this guy out of the city.
Get this guy out of the city.
Boos are rare in Houston, especially for a baseball team that has brought the city to the pinnacle.
But after a 6-3 loss to the White Sox at Daikin Park on Tuesday, the home crowd of 34,011 fans let the team hear it.
And the players responded.

Espada went on to actually pitch his two leverage relievers in a game where they were trailing by four and three, respectively, in the innings they pitched. Are we sure Espada knows the format of the wild card round? No days off?
White Sox win probability is 92.6% right now. I’d let Imai come in and go the rest of the way. If the game gets out of hand, so be it. If he pitches well, then yay. Main thing is to save the bullpen for Wednesday and Thursday.

Holy shit Espada is retarded.
Espada on Trammell in the lineup: "Yeah, he's swung the bat really well. We have a ton of confidence on him. The last couple of games he's been working through a few things, but we know that this is a lineup that matches up really well against them. We also value his defense in left. So hopefully he rebounds and has a good series against the White Sox."
