I think it’s a generational thing, my take is teppay is initially aimed at young users who grew up with smartphones and don’t have credit cards, that demographic is the biggest user of QR, they don’t care about tap speeds like old fogeys

@Kanjo Suica brings a different expectation, though. If you’re used to tapping, opening a QR code can feel like an extra step even if it matches other QR apps on speed.

I find ‘teppay app is slow’ complaints rather hilarious as all QR apps are dog slow launching in invariably bad network store environments🤔

とりあえず有効にしてみたけど、モバイルSuicaアプリがベースなのでQR出すまでにとにかく時間がかかってめんどくさい。。。PayPayには遠く及ばない使い勝手。。。

JR東日本に電話しました。やはり綾瀬駅はサービス開始時点で（JREの）QR対応しないそう。あと都営交通にも泉岳寺駅の質問をさせていただいたのですが、こちらは明瞭な回答を得ず。おそらくシステム的な問題（サーバ接続とか）かと思うのですが…
