The people of Acholi Sub-region have unanimously endorsed Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for President of Uganda 2031 onwards. They have rejected politics of tribalism and religion.

I am deeply humbled and grateful to the people of Africa who voted for me, enabling me to emerge 2nd Runner-Up in the Unstoppable Minister African Award. Thank you for your confidence, support and recognition.
First and foremost, I give all the glory and honour to Almighty God.
the Baptist, who, despite his great calling and influence, never sought personal glory. He understood that his mission was to prepare the way for Jesus Christ. In John 3:30, he declared:
“He must increase, but I must decrease.”
This scripture is a powerful reminder that leadership is not about personal glory, but about service, humility and giving credit where it is due.
Just like John the Baptist, I do not want to take credit for what God has enabled me to accomplish. I am only an instrument in God’s hands.
I therefore give special credit to my mentor and Chairman, General @mkainerugaba Museveni , for his guidance, inspiration, mentorship and belief in service to our country.
I also recognise and give credit to His Excellency President @KagutaMuseveni , whose leadership and trust have given me the opportunity to serve our country and contribute to the transformation of our communities.
To the people of Uganda, my colleagues in government, the Ministry of Local Government, our local government leaders and all those working tirelessly at the grassroots, this recognition belongs to you too.
As Minister of Local Government, my commitment remains to fight corruption, protect public resources and improve service delivery. We must ensure that every cent sent to our villages, parishes, sub-counties, towns and districts is put to good use. Public resources must translate into better services and improved livelihoods for our people.
This recognition is not a reason to slow down, but a greater responsibility to serve.
The glory belongs to God, the opportunity is a privilege, and the responsibility is to serve the people.

The Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba Museveni, has issued guidance regarding the organisation’s endorsement exercise and ongoing activities as follows:
1.All endorsements in support of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba Museveni @mkainerugaba as the next President of Uganda shall henceforth be conducted strictly online through the PLU’s official website: plu.org.ug.
We are going to open offices at Regional and District level to facilitate the online registration, endorsements and issuing Patriotic Cadre(PC) numbers.
2. We had started receiving back fully filled endorsement books. I therefore urge all our endorsement officers/Coordinators to collect the books from Subcounties and safely deliver them back to the Secretariat by 30th of November 2026 for compilation.
That also implies that we have stopped issuing endorsement books!
3. PLU will continue conducting its community Baraza's with a renewed focus on the Anti-corruption campaign, Medical camps and the provision of Legal guidance to members of the public.
4. The organisation will officially commence the establishment and opening of PLU offices in all regions and districts across the country to strengthen its presence and improve service delivery at the grassroots level.
All PLU Coordinators and stakeholders are therefore urged to take note of these changes and ensure compliance in accordance with the Chairman’s guidance.

PLU's registration and endorsement drive is a smart method that no existing organisation has attempted before. It's like an opinion poll, but dealing with real people who have national IDs and contacts, targeting to have more members than the registered voters in the 2026 al groups often claim victory in elections based on opinion polls that used random people, who are neither members of the party nor voters, as respondents. On Gen. @mkainerugaba's supposed bid for the Presidency, clearly he has stated that his bid is after H.E @KagutaMuseveni and not challenging him for the seat. Many are misunderstanding this while others are twisting it deliberately to create unnecessary anxiety and friction in the Ugandan public space. PO132 FK
