Jacksonville is getting an intriguing frontcourt piece in 6’10 2027 Tyson Thompson. (@TThom3342)
His combination of size and mobility allows him to run the floor, establish himself around the rim, and provide a consistent presence on the glass. He finishes well around the defensively, and still has plenty of room to expand his offensive game.
A lot to work with long term for the Dolphins.

Get over to Kimmel and watch a game.

Is Leesville Road North Carolina’s 8A state title favorites?
I 👀 an open gym and came away thinking this roster is LOADED.
•Wofford commit
•D1 talent
•D2, D3, high-academic
Something for every level.
May be more here than people realize.

I don’t ever get involved in rankings because I genuinely don’t care but we as a state are missing big time on Jaylen Mason.
That kid is easily a top 10 prospect in North Carolina in 2029.

With all of the attrition out of the state as of today here’s who I would say are the early candidates for NC POY:
(Excluding those who don’t play in the
NCHSAA or NCISAA)
Kaharri Coleman - West Charlotte
Antoine Morman Jr. - Southern Durham
Geren Holmes - The Burlington School
Micah Gunter - Greensboro Day
Chase Smith - Queens Grant
Xavier Hall- Mooresville

BREAKING: West Charlotte junior guard Chacho Womack is transferring to Petersburg (VA) High School.
Womack, a 6-5 wing, was the second-leading scorer on the Lions’ sophomore-led state championship team last season, averaging 17.6 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
247 Sports uard and the No. 91 recruit overall in the class of 2028. He has offers from schools like Florida State, Texas A&M and LSU.
At Petersburg, Womack will play for nationally-known coach Ty White, founder of the adidas-based Team Loaded travel basketball organization.
Womack played for Team Loaded during the spring and summer.
Petersburg, a 3A school in Virginia, won the state title last season under White, beating Lake Tyler 56-35 in March, ending a 51-year title drought. Petersburg was led by 6-5 sophomore guard King Bacot, the younger brother of former UNC star Armando Bacot.
White, the coach, is a former Petersburg High player who was hired last year. Before coming back to his alma mater, he led John Marshall (VA) to seven state titles. White was 322-60 at John Marshall and is 344-64 overall.
Womack is the second top
West Charlotte player to transfer, following senior guard AC Pressley, who transferred to Phoenix Prep in the summer.
