🚨 Pentagon Just Admitted Bitcoin is a U.S. Military Power-Projection Weapon Against China

In a House Armed Services Committee hearing, Rep. Lance Gooden pressed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on whether Bitcoin can serve as a strategic tool for national power.

Hegseth’s reply .”

He confirmed Bitcoin provides real strategic leverage over China and other adversaries… and revealed the Pentagon is already running classified initiatives both to enable and to counter the technology.

It lines up with earlier military experiments testing Bitcoin nodes for hardened, censorship-resistant communications and cybersecurity, plus the 2025 executive order that created a U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

Interestingly, CIA Casually admitted that Bitcoin Is Used As A Surveillance Tool: “Bitcoin isn’t truly anonymous… it’s a TOOL we use for intel gathering.”

“A Nation That Separates Its Scholars From Its Warriors Will Have Its Fighting Done By Cowards And Its Thinking - By Fools”.

~ Sir William Francis Butler. 🫡
What the education of the American Founding Fathers understood (and what modern educational theory has strategically and tactically displaced) is beautifully illustrated in this observation and reflection stated below by teacher, James Furey. One of the most pedagogically consequential sentences in his post is:

“The search for truth begins with admitting that it comes via interpreting what already exists, rather than inventing it as I go.”

Not only a statement about Christian humility (also an excellent reminder about the structural role of theology as queen of the sciences). It identifies a foundational distinction upon which the legitimacy of education, intellectual formation, moral judgment and constitutional stewardship depends. Reality is antecedent to the intellect. The intellect does not constitute the reality it is obliged to know. That distinction establishes the proper jurisdiction of ontology over epistemology. And its educational consequences throughout civic infrastructure are enormous regarding governance and the Rule of Law.

What exists governs what can legitimately be known, taught and judged. It is the duty of self governing citizens to do so to the best of their capability, in maintaining vigilance in defence and upholding of their Constitutional Republic. The Founders stated that this IS the solemn obligation, duty and telos of Education in the Constitutional Republic. To steward this defence capability from one generation to the next. That it’s how the Republic is ‘kept’

Conduct

In ‘Education of the Founding Fathers’ (documented by James J Walsh) & Founder John Witherspoon’s Curriculum which formed so many of the Founding’s statesmen, public officials, public servants and self governing citizens, the teacher/professor/tutor does not treat the student as an autonomous producer of meaning. The student encounters a world that already exists, possesses intelligible order and places demands upon the intellect independently of the student’s preferences, interpretations or intellectual performances. The student’s task is to learn to recognize that order accurately. This requires the formation of intellectual habits capable of distinguishing:

What exists from what is imagined or asserted
What is true from what is merely coherent or persuasive
What is constitutive from what is conventional
What is legitimately authoritative from what just ‘exercises power’
What is binding from what is preferred

The governing educational obligation is not simply to develop ‘intellectual proficiency’ (Bloom’s Taxonomy). It is to form a person capable of recognizing reality, judging truthfully concerning it - and - conducting himself faithfully in accordance with what recognition establishes (the duty and obligation of the oath sworn ‘to defend the Constitution’) . Knowledge is not an exercise in intellectual self-authentication. Nor does humility require surrendering the capacity to know. It requires recognizing that the intellect is answerable to something constitutively other than itself.

Interpretation is legitimate insofar as it faithfully apprehends and articulates what exists. Where interpretation contradicts the constitutive nature of its object, the object does not become otherwise - it is not ‘transformed’, it’s not ‘changed’ and the revolutionaries do not and cannot alter it, subvert it or negate it. When defence capability is executed across the civic professions and especially the institutions of formation, teaching, learning and credentialing - the mediating action of interpretation is corrected in faithful accord to what is antecedently constitutive and binding upon all

What makes James’ observation key is that he has recognized, through personal experience, a distinction that educational institutions ought never to have lost - but they were the primary vessels for hostile operations. Pedagogical defence capability is long overdue for operationalizing at scale.

The mind is not Of-Its-Own, but rather is a part of a Trinity, so the objective returns to seeking balance of Mind/Body/Soul. The objective, then, becomes mastery in execution of this Trinity in its Highest Human Form.

Mathematics is the gold standard of objective truth because its logic is eternal. But as AI begins to solve proofs that humans can verify but not fully understand, we face a new existential question: what is the true role of the human mind? #Mathematics #ArtificialIntelligence

Glossing over the real mechanics of that era: Off-Shoring, Demand Destruction, and so on.

Rates played a role, but it’s monstrously overstated.
Paul Volcker took inflation from 14.8% to 3% in 3 years, and Ray Dalio went broke betting the economy would crash instead.

Years later, Dalio sat across from Volcker and asked him how he held on.

In March 1980, inflation hit 14.8%. Volcker saw it speeding up near 15%, and he pussyfooted much longer it would reach 20%.

So he tightened, "like a bulldog biting at it straight out."

Rates went to 20%. Unemployment went to 10%. It was the worst downturn since the Great Depression.

There were protests. Farmers parked tractors outside the Federal Reserve. He held.

By 1982, even Volcker was worried. Unemployment was finally rising, and "the damn inflation rate wasn't coming down." Backing off would have wasted all of it. "I felt we were stuck."

That is the year in the post below. Dalio ran the debt numbers, watched Mexico default in August, and bet the economy and the market would go down a lot.

Summer 1982 was also when Volcker's squeeze started to work. The money supply came down, then inflation came down. By the end of the year, the recession looked finished.

By 1983, inflation was 3%, and a decade of strong growth followed.

Dalio was right about the debt. He was wrong about how long Volcker would hold.

The $4,000 loan from his dad paid for that lesson.

OBM - Russ Vought may very well be prepared to blow out the budget and force the Fed to cut rates and monetize the debt leading to (real) devaluation. The scope could be radically expanded IF Trump declares Wartime Emergency Powers at the eleventh hour ahead of the Elections.
ONE OF BIGGEST VARIANT PERCEPTION IN MARKETS IMO:

Austerity now won't work either, because we didn't do it in 1987, 1994, 1998, 2000, or 2008 (wasn't an option in 2020 either.)

Now, if we do austerity, we trigger not just recession, but debt collapse, banking system collapse, & risk hyperinflation v. gold. Here's the math:

Last 3 recessions US saw deficits rise 600-1000 bps of GDP. IE austerity-driven recession would send US deficit to 13-17% of GDP.

That's bad enough, but the USD would rise on US austerity...

...which means foreigners, US banks, US pensions, & US hedge funds would be FORCED by stronger USD to sell USTs (as foreigners are short $13-14t in USD-denominated debt, while stronger USD drives weaker growth worldwide)...

....that selling combined would likely add ~$1-2T to the effective deficit, or 4-7% of GDP...

So austerity-driven US recession would drive US deficit to (13-17%) + (4-7%) = 17-25% of GDP, or a bigger deficit than WW2...

...into a recession, where there ARE no buyers left but the Fed (recession in a levered system de-grosses savings, it does not grow savings.)

So either the Fed funds a 17-25% of GDP US deficit with freshly-printed USDs, or else rates skyrocket...in a recession.

Rates skyrocketing would blow up the collateral underpinning the entire western banking system - basically 1q23 on steroids.

If that happens, either the Fed does BTFP on steroids (buys the USTs with freshly printed USDs) or we get the biggest US bank run since the Great Depression and banking system collapses, or regulators do away with all bank capital regulations to avoid them taking UST losses (aka Fed QE done through the banks like in Apr-2020 w/SLR exemptions).

Rates spiking would also send US govt interest expense > US receipts, which then means either the US govt nominally defaults on those USTs or prints the money just to pay the interest on the debt, which would ALSO undermine the banking system's collateral (AND is a technical definition of hyperinflation).

This is why i cannot help but laugh at western investors that sell gold on rising US rates or rising US real rates with the US debt & fiscal situation as it is.

I get monthly or quarterly mandate realities, but selling gold on rising US rates or reals show that consensus still does NOT understand the severity of the situation we are in yet.

Guess this could be why Mask recently shit on Stealth tech...
😮‍💨😂

Makes Perfect Sense !
The Chinese have published two remarkably contrasting pieces of writing about Starlink. One is about how to destroy it. The other turns it into a radar. The first paper was prompted by a worrying incident in 2021, when China told the UN that Starlink satellites had approached its y on two occasions that it had to move out of their way. In April 2022, Ren Yuanzhen, a researcher at a military institute in Beijing, said that the satellites should be tracked and, if necessary, destroyed by a combination of jamming and direct physical attacks.

Two years later, a team at Wuhan University came to the opposite conclusion: that Starlink was more valuable alive than dead. Radar works by sending out a signal and detecting its reflection, which has the drawback of betraying the radar's presence to the enemy. But Starlink already blankets the earth with signals from around 11,000 satellites, and does so whether anyone requests them or not. Off the coast of Guangdong province, the Wuhan team pointed an antenna at one of the satellites and waited for a drone to pass in front of it, briefly interrupting the signal, like an object passing in front of a light and momentarily blocking it.

The team used a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone because they calculated that its radar cross section was similar to an F-22 stealth fighter. Stealth aircraft are designed to reflect radar waves away from the transmitter, but a shadow doesn't care about the shape of the object casting it, just its profile, so the clever shaping of stealth aircraft is useless against it. The team's paper referred to it as "anti-stealth". In 2025, a Chinese radar journal was considering how it might be used over the open ocean, where land-based radars cannot reach.

For now, the implications are relatively limited. In the simulation, the drone had to pass within 77m of the direct path between the satellite and the antenna for the technique to detect it. Yi Jianxin, the lead researcher, admitted that the "feasibility and effectiveness" of the system for military use were yet to be proved. Even a Chinese military blog that was excited by the research said that "it cannot serve as fire-control radar to guide interceptors", ie, it does not offer a way to shoot things down. The Register was more graphic, saying that it was like "knowing there's a mosquito in the bedroom at night", but still "not being able to swat it".

One obvious weakness of the Wuhan radar is that, because it uses Starlink's own signals, it would be disabled if the satellites were destroyed, as the 2022 paper recommended.

Northrop Grumman FORTITUDE™

FORTITUDE™, a groundbreaking gallium nitride (GaN) microchip that triples electrical power capabilities and delivers 20 times better signal quality.

The chip is remarkably small—roughly the size of a grain of rice—and is custom-built to replace adio-frequency (RF) components. By consolidating hardware, it drastically cuts down weight, simplifies system architecture, and lowers overall energy consumption.

The technology was previously known as the Super Lattice Castellated Field Effect Transistor, the chip features a patented gallium nitride (GaN) “superlattice” structure made of multiple stacked, ultra-thin layers. This allows it to carry 10 times the electrical charge density of standard GaN chips, handling significantly more power within the same tiny footprint.

news.northropgrumman.com/microelectroni…

NOTE: This breakthrough follows a closely related microelectronic project from late August 2026, where Northrop Grumman partnered with DARPA on a separate $7 million project to build diamond-cooled chips aimed at tripling power density by embedding microscopic diamond heat sinks.

news.northropgrumman.com/microelectroni…

For the first time on a single semiconductor, FORTITUDE™ combines sub-nanosecond signal switching and high-frequency filtering. It physically cleans and shapes data signals before they can conflict with other system components.

media.northropgrumman.com/bdbdb9e9-deb2-…

Acting as a supercharged traffic controller and gatekeeper, it ensures ultra-reliable, high-speed data flow in critical military and infrastructure systems. It operates flawlessly across a wide frequency range stretching from kilohertz levels all the way up to 20 GHz, allowing a single chip to cover multiple radar and communication bands.

Super-lattice castellated field effect transistor (slcfet) switch system

US20250105861A1

The present invention is about a field-effect transistor device that has a superlattice structure with multiple 2DxG channels. The device has a source, a drain, and a crenelated gate that can effectively control all the channels using conventional gate voltage levels, regardless of the number of channels present. This results in a more efficient and efficient control of the channels, even if there are a large number of them.
