Had some of the best Bitcoin discussions across nearly 10 in person events over the last few weeks.
Inquisitive and bright people, lots of business owners and people who are genuinely curious.
Very few of them are on X hence no @
Bitcoin companies should get outside of their comfort zone.

Reeves’s stamp duty raid backfires as Treasury LOSES £500m in receipts. Also, HMRC WRITES OFF £13bn in tax as businesses collapse under Labour. Labour increased capital gains tax and the money coming into the Treasury FELL.
How incompetent are Labour, every measure they take to try and grab more of our money fails and they end up with less money. Financially illiterate. Policies which are punitive only ending up with the Treasury being worse off. Labour never learn. Get Labour out.

QE could lower yields. Sadly, it couldn’t print energy, factories or food. A bedtime story for bond traders. 🎢📉

Just flash released the rest of Season 2 of my short @abitrich21 - Episodes 9 and 13 are must watch. Well, only if you're a psychopath Bitcoiner who enjoys video demonstrations of everyone getting poorer slowly.

Bitcoin vs TallyMoney? Wrong argument.
Digital asset or gold - both challenge the fiat currency system that is designed to devalue people’s money.
TallyMoney Founder @CameronJParry joins @JayW132 at The Bitcoin Collective to discuss why Bitcoin and instant gold are allies, not enemies.

The UK sold 395 tonnes of gold between 1999 and 2002.
The sales were announced to the market in advance, so everyone knew the flood was coming.
Raised $3.5 billion at the time. It's worth over $50 billion today.

Looks like we need an asterisk next to 🇬🇧 holdings on @BTCtreasuries
China has opened its own case to confiscate the 61,800 bitcoin UK police seized in 2018, days after a London court ruled Chinese law governs the fraud victims' claims. About £3.8bn, untouched for eight years, and still years from settled. coindesk.com/markets/2026/1… #Bitcoin

Nine months ago we launched a Bitcoin business into the heart of a bear market 😰
Not the easiest timing. Like every downturn, the last year has sorted the people with real conviction from those who were not quite there yet.
But membership of the Bitcoin Business Network has ese are people who look past the chart. They understand what Bitcoin actually is, they want to build with it and be part of what comes next.
Now the mood is shifting. As the price picks up once more, mainstream circles are opening up to the conversation again.
Of course, we are excited by the price action like everyone else.
But what we really care about is growing this community. Bringing together more people who believe Bitcoin lays the foundations for stronger businesses.
Together, we can use this platform to drive positive economic change across the UK and help make it a place where innovation thrives again.
The hardest part is behind us. Now the fun begins 👇

Bitcoin is up 20% since Boris Johnson called it a “giant Ponzi scheme” in March 2026.

@DanielPriestley Fancy coming on my podcast and discussing Bitcoin, @DanielPriestley? x.com/elonmusk/statu…
@zerohedge True.
That is why Bitcoin is based on energy: you can issue fake fiat currency, and every government in history has done so, but it is impossible to fake energy.

🇬🇧 🌬️ The LARGEST DAY OF WASTED WIND on record. Britain paid £41.3m on 14 Oct, to switch off turbines (£5.7m) then buy the power back from gas (£35.7m). 150,656 MWh of clean generation discarded.
Texas lets Bitcoin miners soak up surplus wind. Here it lands straight on household bills. 💸

@Jcastweet @andreajenkyns This will be a great event & quite different to what we've done before!
However, now we have a real presence in Lincolnshire, & we're looking forward to meeting other local operators & businesses in person!
If you're coming along, find us in the energy section (where else?)
