Here's a little something I wrote, YOU MUST READ.
"The doctrinal scaffolding is there for LDS men to live their religion in ways that are aspirational to young men disaffected from the modern world... You must be VITAL and DOMINATE like Joseph Smith!"

When I first started handing out candy, I wanted to only hand out candy bars since that's what I wanted most as a kid (like everyone else).

But now I realize that the sheer variety of candy is part of the secret sauce of Halloween, so we're handing out "the other stuff.'

Abdul El Sayed bizarrely attacks Pete Hegseth for sucking at sports in high school and rips his mom for cheering for him. (Pete played college basketball at Princeton and was an all state basketball player). This is just strange. Abdul is a weird dude.

AUSTIN MAN slams into a stopped minivan at 103 mph on Mother's Day, right in front of a cop, and kills a fire captain hours after his fifth son was born. DA Jose Garza's office asked him to pay a small fine.

Marvin Taylor was on his way to pick up his four other boys so they by brother. He was sitting at a red light on Koenig Lane when a Dodge Durango doing 103 in a 45 zone slammed into him and threw his van 150 feet. He died pinned inside.

The officer found the driver, Rodney Bremby, with bloodshot eyes and slurred speech and stench of alcohol.

He was charged with intoxication manslaughter, which carries up to 20 years in prison. A judge revoked his bond twice while the case was pending, and both times he was back out within two weeks.

On Monday he got 10 years of probation, community service, and $535 in fees.

Five boys have lost their father, and the man who killed him just had to pay a small fine and promise not do it again before going back home.

@extradeadjcb Isn't this just Baumol's cost disease? It would actually be surprising if the price of services like daycare didn't rise faster than the overall inflation rate, since there are no productivity gains.

The Baby Panopticon is probably the only way out.

This is a shame. Sacramento was the first outpost in Northern California. John Sutter’s men discovered gold and changed the course of history for the state. Of course, since the 60s the city has been overrun with 3rd worlders from every corner of the globe.
JD Vance said Texas is not becoming California, and the men at the Alamo did not die so Texas could become Sacramento.

Lots of people are calling the Alaska "fake Dan Sullivan" scheme unethical but legal.

They haven't read the case law. Conspiring to trick voters into voting for the wrong candidate is a federal felony under 18 U.S.C. § 241. My full lawsplainer: x.com/i/article/2115…

Confirmed cases of voluntary departure have soared to the highest levels in history. Illegal aliens are increasingly giving up in immigration courts, in fear of mass deportations.

There have been more voluntary departures in 21 months of Trump than in 6 years of Obama, combined.

BigLaw is a miserable experience for most people. It is full of tension/rivalries/backstabbing. The idea that you can have a real ‘partnership’ with a few hundred cutthroats sitting on top of a pyramid scheme is ridiculous. The mystery is how firms like Weil hold together at all.

On Tuesday morning while participating in a sporting event, my friend Zac Holzapfal, 45 years old, collapsed and passed away.

Zac was a member of the bishopric in his ward. He leaves his remarkable wife Kate and their two sons, Jojo age 6 and Teddy age 4.

This past Sunday, sing, he shared his testimony about the Resurrection and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. This clip, shared with his family’s permission, came from a not-yet-deleted stream of the meeting that was broadcast for a homebound ward member.

His witness of the Savior’s Resurrection and His victory over death will be a comfort and support for his family in the years ahead. Zac would want nothing more than to share his testimony with you.

Because of our Savior Jesus Christ’s Atonement and Resurrection, we have hope when loved ones unexpectedly pass away. We know we will see them again.

I know that families can be eternal, that each of us will be resurrected and that we can be reunited with our loved ones because of Jesus Christ. I testify that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is infinite and eternal.
