Trowler is a Playwright + stealth crawler that routes through Tor (SOCKS5), rotates circuits, detects challenge/login pages, and falls back to human-in-the-loop for CAPTCHAs. Parsing can go through LiteLLM when the forum structure is unknown. Results land in SQLite.
The similarity engine extracts classic stylometric features (function words, sentence length, punctuation, temporal patterns, slang) and scores pairs with LightGBM or cosine similarity as fallback.
Repo is tiny: ~5 stars, 0 forks, ~11 commits. No tests, no sample dataset, no pre-trained model shipped. Claims about bypassing EndGame/DDoS-Guard and unmasking actors are unproven.
Functional skeleton, not a validated tool.

@IntelOpsV3o@FaultyBuckng threat actors across forums. Extracting linguistic and behavioral metadata is a solid approach for linking pseudonyms. Looking forward to seeing how the MMFIC framework evolves.
