At the IU Biotechnology Symposium at @IUIndianapolis, research organizations, industry leaders and government officials met to focus on the future of biotechnology and national security.

Participants joined leaders from the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology ss priorities, research opportunities and pathways for collaboration. Six research teams were also awarded funding for defense-specific projects through the Indiana University Applied Research Center and IU Launch Accelerator for Biosciences’ National Security Biotech for Defense program.
