My journey into Solana started because I needed it.

Growing up with limited access to traditional financial infrastructure meant that receiving and moving money internationally wasn’t always simple. When I started getting paid for work online, I had to find another way. That me to Solana, and I’ve stayed close to this ecosystem ever since.

Over the years I’ve contributed through communities, education and content in both Spanish and English. A lot of that journey has been around NFTs, builders, Solana communities and, more recently, MetaDAO and Futarchy. Now payments feel like another natural part of that path and;

I’m proud to start contributing to @crediblefin

I’ve been following Credible closely for a while, especially as they brought solana:CREDBHvVqREBCAxMihzr8D1nepHMr2gmQoZWpmgGmeta to MetaDAO as the ownership coin behind the company. That made me spend much more time understanding what they’re actually building: pay-ins, pay-outs, stablecoin settlement, global collection accounts, local rails and liquidity working together as one payment stack for internet-native businesses.

This is also where I want to spend more of my time. Stablecoins, remittances, prediction markets, liquidity and global payments are becoming some of the areas I find most interesting on Solana. There’s a lot for me to learn, and even more work to do from the trenches. I want to understand this business deeply and contribute wherever my voice, communities and experience can actually be useful.

The vision that sticks with me is making T+0 settlement normal. Businesses getting paid without waiting days for money to settle. Money moving globally with less friction. Stablecoins becoming infrastructure that works quietly underneath the experience.

Carrying the Credible badge means a lot to me. Earning it through the work means more.

Still contributing to Solana, now from another part of the stack.

La próxima evolución de las stablecoins no es solo mover dinero más rápido

Es hacer que el capital genere valor incluso cuando está esperando ser utilizado

@solomon_labs está llevando esa idea a las operaciones de @ZyntaFinance
Working capital should earn its keep.

With USDv, Zynta can earn on the dollars it holds between trades, helping offset liquidity costs and improve net economics.

No operational changes, just better business.

I mine @ORE, turns out i'm also helping fund its buybacks.

$570.8k deployed to the reserve so far, with liquidity positioned to buy ore on dips.

imagine telling your broker you want to move your shares into DeFi and use them as collateral

@Backpack and @kamino are making that conversation interesting
Introducing the Backpack Market on Kamino.

Kamino is expanding loans backed by tokenized equity on Solana with @Backpack Securities, bringing 1:1-backed, redeemable tokenized U.S.-listed equities directly into onchain credit markets.

Replying to @connorking
@connorking has been generous enough to spend that time with a small team trying to build a big thing.

we've talked business, we've talked privacy, and we've talked about what it's like being a startup, where every decision is a bet and nobody has a manual.

he's now written up how he sees umbra. it's worth reading all the way through, including the parts where he tells us what we have to prove.

v1 proved people wanted private balances on solana & that as a team we could build something capable of it. It also showed us exactly what was wrong:

1. own the layer. if you rent your privacy layer, you rent your speed, your fees and your signatures. owning the stack meant we control what users actually feel. it also meant compliance could be designed into the protocol.

The main reason is that it keeps the umbra team nimble and on it's feet to take the users opinion on absolutely anything ( fees , UX , product ideas) and help us iterate and ship faster , be scrappy and find the right answer based on what the user suggests

2. keep the proof on your device. keys and note contents shouldn't travel to someone else's server. your device builds its own proof, so the only party that learns your secret is you.

3. shield the tokens people already hold. we didn't want a privacy product that needs the world to switch to wrapped copies of everything and tag it as a confidential version of it. you put in the real token and you get out the real token. every token shares one pool, so each new asset adds cover for all the others.

4. be honest about the edges. the pool is private. the doors in and out are not magic, and a niche amount and token is easy to trace on the way out. so we're curating assets early and teaching privacy hygiene instead of pretending the problem doesn't exist.

5. build infrastructure , build the NETWORK ie. @NimbusPrivacy , not just an app. @UmbraPrivacy is the product you see, it's me and my teams interpretation of how a privacy native product should feel and behave. It's getting better based on your suggestions. However, nimbus is what other wallets and apps can plug into, so privacy becomes something that already exists in every product

it's very early. we have a lot to prove and we know it. but if privacy is going to be a baseline for money. As someone trying to build an honest business, i want to do things right and lay the right foundation rather than rush into decision.

I'm usually not the one to write longer tweets. I leave that to @Abbasshaikh . This article just makes me write more and more about how the vision is shaping up.

thanks again connor. read his piece below.
