What bores me in the NFT space is the “more of the same” mentality. Usual 10K NFT collections with a minor twist. 10K PFP collections aren’t art IMO, they’re collectibles. Unless a big artist is behind them ofc. Art is something else. Why buy? Don’t say the community. It disappears as soon as the floor price drops. Let’s discuss 👇

A portrait of @AdamWeitsman during our time in Marfa last weekend. The level of support for artists that I see, and saw, him engaging in was truly astounding. Every time I ran into him he was in conversation with someone new, locked in and engaged, attentive, taking every chance courage them, but to directly support them by collecting.
I see the same on the timeline from him all the time but to see it in person, all while him and @Dannyb0yyy_ and the wider team were also planning an absolutely insane event (I will never forget that drone show, ever) was another thing entirely. Adam, thank you for your friendship, patronage, and effort to elevate our space through direct action. Grateful you are here and grateful to call you a friend.

Bösendorfer was built from scratch, carried out of ACK's mind down a long path of exacting detail work in ZBrush, Blender, and Cinema 4D, over hundreds of hours. Every crack in the obsidian and every seam of gold was placed by hand.

beyond thrilled and honored to finally share the work i've spent the last 7 months bringing to life.
when @AdamWeitsman approached me for a commission, he trusted me with full creative control, and asked for one thing in return: make it my best work to date.
i knew this would cale for his Carl Sagan Art Residence, so it needed immense gravity. something you could get lost in.
iteration after iteration, i finally found what i'd been searching for. a beast that had been calling me all along, waiting to be brought to life.
