Paul Pierce reportedly earned around $200 MILLION during his NBA career, but the Celtics legend now says he’s struggling financially after losing his Fox Sports income.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Pierce claims his monthly income dropped from roughly $119K to siness ventures. Meanwhile, he says he’s paying around $48K per month in child and spousal support alone, on top of other major expenses.
Despite reportedly having $300K in the bank and $3 million in property, Pierce’s legal team says he’s “drowning financially” as he fights additional legal fees.
This situation has fans questioning how quickly an athlete’s financial picture can change.
