people blame this sort of thing on TikTok or whatever but it’s directly George W Bush’s fault. it’s crazy that teachers basically aren’t allowed to fail students anymore because of the No Child Left Behind Act.

caring. not just when customers want to churn.
Caring is the moat, you should feel visceral pain when things are bad or broken and stop at nothing to fix them

Men in their 20s finding out they won’t look like that forever
the evolution of the dario frame doesn't make sense to me.
he went through incredible twink death and chadification.

Around 1500, Hieronymus Bosch painted sheet music on a sinner's bare butt in hell. 500 years later, someone transcribed and performed it. Now you can hear the original butt song from hell.

Kinda funny in retrospect when I turned up to my burnt down house first person I spoke to was a firefighter who said he saw my tool vinyl and thought I must be cool and I just arrived wearing a tool shirt so now knows I am like brother this might not be the time to bond over tool

Y’all going nuts for the video of early 2000s Dario is a lil’ concerning. You know that like *most* 20-somethings in college are at least generically attractive and don’t like wars, right??

I wish I could pull off scams like this. It’s a terrible time in economic history to have pesky ethics. 😔
Holy shit. Men, including Anthropic employees, were charged $800 each by a San Francisco matchmaker for a dating dinner with 15 women and just seven men. Women attended free. One man was in his 70s, according to a new SF Standard report.

She also offers $1,000 'diagnostic ock dating followed by blunt feedback. Her clients include men from OpenAI, Anthropic, Nvidia and Google.

AI allegiance is also becoming a dating dealbreaker. One woman calls working at OpenAI 'kind of a red flag' and considers Anthropic more ethical. An AI startup founder would date an OpenAI employee but hesitates over Anthropic because of its association with AI doomerism.

At another dating show, men's ChatGPT histories and Reddit activity are examined onstage. One AI worker was playfully booed.

And one founder says he's 'single until Series B' and wants a partner interested in living forever, exploring Mars and connecting their minds to AI.

The cruelest joke of the 2026 economy is finally earning the salary you dreamed of making in 2016, only to realize the house, car, and comfortable middle-class lifestyle you wanted have all gotten more expensive faster than your paycheck.
