Only took me 23 years to finally watch the deliciously ridiculous DTV actioner SHADOW FURY (Makoto Yokoyama, 2001), and man... some of these wire pulls are insane. How many backs did they break on that set? Masakatsu Funaki sure had the moves.

@HeadExposure Was it hard to find or something? Or just waiting so you can revel in it?

@SubToretto Just never got around to it. 🤷 One of those blind spots we all have.

@HeadExposure One of Pat Morita's final performances and yet it also started the acting careers of Jennette McCurdy and Taylor Lautner.

@HeadExposure Makoto Yokoyama action design is the only reason I watched Garo, it’s so goated.

@HeadExposure Shadow Fury been on my blind spot for a while. Granted, thanks to different streaming services creating action films the backlog just gets bigger. There's always something to respect on these smaller budgeted action films that go all in on pulling off insane stunts, and action.

@HeadExposure Very nice. Happy you like it. Going on and on about this one since it‘s German release about 2002 or so … where the regular release had to be cut to shit because the violence was too much and too cool. (LOL) It’s an excellent DTV-movie.
