Vivecraft (Minecraft VR) running natively on Steam Frame!
I keep seeing people gatekeep how to do this when it’s fairly easy, so I’ll put up a guide tomorrow.

Does anyone want to help casually test the BFrame Keyboard for a few days to give input pre launch? It's basically ready but I want to make sure it works for people first and isn't bugged in any way.
Side note I also need Japanese testers for the flick thing. And anyone of different languages

BTW this is still happening. Just slower as I'm balancing like 4 hand coded and designed projects
I can 100% get Restory VR Mod out in November and will continue to post footage. Playability wise it's done, just needs lots of polishing. It will have the new update's content too!

Major polishing for ReStory VR Mod is done! Attached is footage showcasing the startup, character interaction, the custom MP3 music player, and some new repairing footage.
Here's the new updates:
-Added custom music player, where you can add your own music files of multiple bootup entirely
-Finalized glove models. Toggleable outline as well
-Added multiple VR settings and ways to adjust like hand size, seated mode, position, etc
-Tutorial labels on first repair telling you what each interactable object does
-Screwdriver changes size based on the screw sizes in the device, so that repairing is easier for more miniscule tasks
-Polished all interactable UI to work in the VR environment
Release this month! If you want to be able to play it when it's out, please buy Mandragora and tinyBuild's ReStory on Steam!

Posting about projects like this can also be tedious to navigate as I'm literally not using the account as much for "Steam Hardware Updates" (even though there's not many to give) and I don't want to post things people don't want, nor do I want to make a separate account.

BetterFrame “Pin to Head” feature. How does it look?
1. You can toggle the smooth movement in this video, although I recommend it on.
2. The curve toggle is usable!
3. The screen looking slightly rotated is because it’s recording the left eye with Framecorder. It’s not rotated.

Also, gaze based tracking ✅✅✅✅✅✅💯💯💯💯💯
I’ve been working on hand tracking for a while but getting it to work properly has been a difficulty and I don’t want to showcase a half assed demo, which is why most of this stuff will take a bit. I may have something to show for that soon though.

BETTERFRAME QUESTION (I NEED INPUT pls respond if u have input lol)
Do you guys want a dedicated VR settings page with more proper settings specifically relating to VR and BetterFrame with separate settings just for Steam stuff, or do you want everything combined into one single settings menu?
The settings are being revamped but I’m having a hard time understand what exactly people don’t like about the current settings and what changes people want. I do think the actual “VR Settings” tab on Steam Frame is a little lacking, but what would make things more accessible and nice to use? I tried combining VR Settings and Steam Settings with more categories but it kind of just added more settings and I don’t know if that’s what people want.
Any issues you have with Steam Frame’s settings or ideas to improve them pleeeease reply with them

Full Mario 64 in Mixed Reality! Running in real 3D (no stereoscopic crap) natively at 90FPS and also running on my desk! 😋
Again, Opus 5.5 + PICO CLI combo made it quite straightforward.
Such a bliss to play an oldie at 90 FPS in 3D.
Disclaimer: I own an original physical project is not associated with Nintendo or PICO.

I have to make the swipe typing less choppy, polish multi language support, configure some key sizes and positions, and finish the installation guide, make advanced keyboard more conventional, BUT I should be able to get it out by the end of the week if I work way too long on it daily

This is the native keyboard for BetterFrame, but I like it so much that if enough people want it I may release this independently on GitHub early, as BFrame won’t release until later this year .
It will have support for multiple languages, colors, an emoji button, and is free!
