It's fantastic to be on site in Leeds today as the city’s new Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) programme officially commenced, with the first participants attending their lung health checks and low-dose CT scans this afternoon.

This exciting milestone has been made possible through the collaboration of @AllianceMedica1, Nelson+ and @LeedsHospitals, alongside the outstanding work and expertise of the radiologists at @HLHImagingGroup.

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to the mobilisation of the programme and helped make today’s launch possible.

We look forward to continuing to work together to deliver this important service for the people of Leeds.

Taking time away from the office is always important... and that's exactly what our superb Imaging IT Team did last night in London! 😆

It was also the perfect opportunity to welcome our new team member, Farhin, who starts on Monday 2nd November. 🤝

This study day brings together leading voices from across the programme to explore the opportunities & challenges of delivering high-quality screening at scale.

It was lovely to visit @MidYorkshireNHS for a catch-up meeting on their LCS programme, for which The HLH Imaging Group is the reporting provider.

This LCS site has been live since June 2026 and is doing approx. 3,000 scans per annum - likely to increase as time progresses.
