This is why it’s great to push boundaries and do something insane. Makes every other product better.
Here is the @Tesla Roadster’s battery and drive unit, which is one-third more powerful than the Model S Plaid’s, with half the mass.

Tesla: “The new high-voltage battery and drive unit technology used to drive Roadster enables our most powerful and compact rear-wheel drive unit iver 1 MW of pure power-that's one third more power than Model S Plaid-with half the mass. The result is paradigm-shifting acceleration with amazing cornering and precise stopping power.”

So is there a path in the future where that thing is continuously refilling, isn’t loud and no smoke exhaust and then viola we have a real flying car?

Streeteasy desperately needs these features:
- Every unit must have sqft
- AI photo labeling
- Community building reviews

Finding a place in NY is essentially figuring out what lie is being told on streeteasy.

Really great opportunity to build something big.
Hiring a founding AI engineer for my new vertical AI company.

- ~$10m in seed funding
- NYC based (5 days in office)
- Disrupting a massive, legacy industry
- Mid to high 7 figures of demand in the pipeline

DM me with the most interesting/impressive thing you've built to apply

First it was anonymizing the emails so Google can’t learn from your shopping habits, now it’s cutting off muse. Data vs consumer experience is about to get really interesting.
Amazon cuts off Muse.

While I am bullish Meta and Muse, I think many people are overlooking the digital knife fight that’s about to occur

Nobody wants to get commoditized or layered here. Let the games begin

Not that long ago people would’ve thought it was a complete waste of dev resources to built book an uber from the web.

Between the whoop, apple watch, bands, etc companies are now competing for wrist real estate. At most I only want to wear one thing continuously.
Everyone’s been asking what’s next after selling Cal AI.

Introducing Persona.

Others couldn’t figure out the interface, we did.

It's @ycombinator Demo Day is tomorrow 🚀

There’s a robot that folds laundry, cancer vaccines for dogs, and a company planning data centers at sea.

I went through all 234 public companies. Here’s the full guide, plus 7 of my favorites... x.com/i/article/2097…

UI still significantly better with Claude Fable but the computer use on Astra is next level.

Vercel sensative variables are super annoying. AI doesnt like them either.

"I also added it to Vercel production, but that project stores new variables as Sensitive, so it will not sync"

It’s 2030. You have one series of cancer vaccines that covers all major cancers. Anything not covered is detected in a yearly MRI that takes 30mins. Your wearables and blood tests all feed into AI and give you personalized nutrition. A full care team in your pocket.

Is starting late actually an advantage in cost and frontier will have a harder time course correcting?
Hark released our computer-using agent last week, called Handoff

One thing I'm still shocked by how much cheaper and faster we made the model. Input got 96% cheaper, output 92% cheaper

In the future, you'll have "thousands" of computers working 24/7 for you. They'll handle the yourself today, but also do research and think proactively on your behalf. That's why getting serving costs down has been a critical focus

I'm excited about a future where computers can use computers for us

🇪🇺 This year the European Union will again make more money from fining US tech companies

Than from the total tax income from Europe's own public tech companies!
⚠️ We have fined Google €890 million for breaching the Digital Markets Act, by promoting their own services and restricting customer access to alternatives on Google Search and Google Play.

I am reminded more and more how important @bgurley’s all in talk was to bringing light on regulatory capture. You can see it coming a mile away now.
Well, at least all of our token spend is going to a good cause. 🤔

If siri gets more powerful and can control other apps (order me an uber) - data sharing/memory is going to get really interesting. From last place to all of a sudden knowing everything about you. Also app selection bias.

Hey @danshipper would love your take and opinion on compound engineering in a fable/sol era. Love it for opus but not sure how to think about it for efficiency and use now.
