The original footage relates to a press briefing delivered by then GOC 28 Infantry Division, Maj Gen Girish Kalia, in Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir, on 27 October 2023. 🚨 Manipur: 17 Arrested at Sinai Camp
A joint operation by Manipur Police, QAT CRPF and CoBRA at Sinai Camp on October 23 led to the arrest of 17 individuals impersonating registered SoO cadres (8 KNA and 9 KLA).
Security forces seized 24 firearms, 38 magazines, ammunition, uipment and other combat gear.
All 17 have been remanded to 8 days of police custody. Further investigation is underway.
