Good design starts from the inside out.
Inside Pixel 11 and Pixel Watch 5, color-coded screws, pull tabs, and visual guides make repairs straightforward. Small details, but they make a real difference when you're swapping a battery. Built to last—and built to be fixed.

In 2D illustration, you only solve for one angle. In 3D, there’s nowhere to hide.
Case in point: Sculpting our flat poodle in full dimension revealed she only had three legs the entire time. (Don't worry, she now has all four.)

When choosing web fonts, consider the size. Sans serifs work well for small sizes, while Geometric or Humanist styles are suitable for medium sizes. For large text over 24pt, Display fonts are a great choice. They have striking features that stand out at larger sizes.

In #MaterialDesign 3, Extended FABs are the most prominent button type and should be used when a regular FAB (with just an icon) may not be clear enough for the user.

Celebrating small wins is hardwired into "Achieve," our goal-tracking sample app.
We wanted the simple act of checking off a task to feel like a celebration. Instead of the standard #Material ripple, we used Styles to drop in a custom, high-contrast completion a brand-colored ring that expands and fades on tap, paired with a subtle pressed-state gradient.
It lets us focus entirely on polishing those custom, rewarding micro-interactions while Material handles the foundation.
