In the year since Charlie Kirk was assassinated, we've learned something critical.
The left are monsters, plain and simple. This collective of callous cretins does not want debate; they cannot be reasoned with, they seek only power. More than that, we learned they wear many undermine their opposition no matter the cost.
This includes posing as members of other groups, waiting for the perfect moment in which to strike. Such examples include, but are not limited to, Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. Known to some beforehand, in the wake of Kirk's murder they've since sloughed off their masks for all to see.
Eternal vigilance truly is the price of liberty. We must always be wary in whose words we trust, and be on the lookout for their true views. The evil tree cannot bear good fruit, and the good tree cannot bear evil fruit; this is as true now as it was in Christ's day.
A day may come when words are no longer enough, when we have no choice but to take up arms to champion the cause of liberty. But for now at least, it is not this day. Pray it never comes, and we can get out of this mess without such a conflict, for it will be neither noble nor nice.
It will be incredibly violent and vicious.

There's beauty in understanding this simplicity in the difference between the sexes.

@LizzyStarrrdustof very yin and yang dynamics in dating and this is one of them.
Women are basically always lusted after so they take it for granted and see it as shallow and not super special, raw physical desire doesn't carry much meaning to them because they've been drowning in it their whole lives. What they really desire is to be valued for who they are as a person and for the effort they put in.
Men are in the exact opposite situation, they are typically only valued for what they do, so they crave being lusted after and wanted for more primal reasons than just how useful they are.
A woman's biggest fear is being used for sex by a man who doesn't care about her as a person.
A man's biggest fear is being used for resources and commitment by a woman who doesn't deeply desire him sexually.

Yes, I know this is an advertisement.
However, there's a lesson here: if you're raising boys, you NEED to provide them with toys that are tactile, that they can play with in the real world. Otherwise they'll happily waste away their days on electronic devices.
That's unhealthy.

They're doing it again.
Does your nose detect that subtle whiff of gas coming from that lantern over there? If so, good. That means you can tell you're being gaslit by the mainstream media. Again.
No, this is not normal.
No, repeating this mendacious lie will not make it true.

If you go to bed on election night and don't know who won a midterm congressional race, that's normal. And if you wake up the next morning and find that a candidate who was behind hours earlier has since pulled ahead, that's normal, too. (via @PolitiFact) to.pbs.org/4zqnWBa

Looks like PBS isn't the only outlet reporting PolitiFact's assertion as "real."

It's normal not to know who won a midterm race on election night, and for a candidate trailing hours earlier to pull ahead by morning, says PBS.

Guns make it easier to commit great violence, but they don't make it easy.
It still takes gumption to pull that trigger with purpose, even if you're just plinking paper. Especially if you're pointing it at a fellow human being who you can see face-to-face.
That's why a lot of executions by gunfire are done with the victim facing away, or blindfolded—it's not for their benefit, but for the shooter's. Che Guevara, that darling commie psychopath, famously couldn't stand to shoot anyone unless their back was turned.
Even more wild is why the military trains with the type of targets it uses. B. F. Skinner made his name on how to correct the overwhelming tendency of soldiers in the field to shoot at anything but the enemy: by having them train on human silhouettes.
This is yet further proof that civilization only exists because hard men stand ready to commit great violence on our behalf with everything they have, including their lives. We would all do well to remember that.

Women:
If you want a man to protect you, you need to be a woman worthy of protection.
If you want a man to love you, you need to be a woman worthy of being loved.
If you want a man to support you, you need to be a woman worthy of support.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: libertarianism is the right-wing equivalent of socialism.
Both are utopian, and both rely on magical thinking.
And both rely on absolutist statements of fact that are in reality blatant opinions with no basis in reality, like this one:
orth listening to will ever allege that a government can be made up of all good people. That's precisely the sort of utopian nonsense that fuels socialism's assumptions.
Second, it's predicated on an assumption that power always corrupts, when human history is replete with examples to the contrary. While it's true most folks aren't suited for power, it's also the case that those who aren't suited for it tend to self-select against having it.
Third, the binary assumption of statists vs. libertarians is completely artificial. States, whether based around cities, nations or even continents, arise because they must, because humans are social animals. Those who reject the idea of government put themselves outside of society by choice. That's their right, but they shouldn't expect the rest of us to agree.
Of course, those who need to read this didn't bother to click the "Show more" marker anyway, so it's entirely possible I just wasted ten minutes of my life I'll never get back.
Oh well, I tried...

Mmm, delicious white pills...
@YandereBladeg@Praxis_Fallof white pills I can give you.
We have already won.
Exhibit A: Because of the sickening display of pro-terrorist protests after the October 7th, 2023, the liberal Ivy League colleges have lost all credibility with the high tier businesses that hire from them. As a result, the conservative Ivy League colleges have become some overwhelmed with applicants that we will soon see more conservative Ivy League universities made to accommodate the demand.
Exhibit B: Homeschooling is on the rise in a meteoric way because of how horrible the public education system has gotten. It will only continue to grow.
Conclusion: We have conquered the schools. All we need to do is wait for it to take full effect.
Exhibit C: Hollywood and the Corporate video game/media companies are all dying a torturously slow death because they refuse to give up woke ideology. As a result, indie companies and AI generated entertainment is on the rise. The people have voted with their wallets and with their time and the verdict is clear - we have won the entertainment sector culturally speaking. Soon, we will win it financially too.
Exhibit D: We have conquered the news sector. Independent journalists and pundits are far more trusted now than the slop propagandists that run corporate news media. They will never fully recover the influence they once had. We only continue to gain influence as the truth continues to be on our side. People notice that.
Exhibit E: We have won the political war in many countries across the world (but definitely in America). We only need to maintain our political momentum and we will achieve total cultural domination for at least the next two to three decades.
That’s my bottle of white pills for you.

Well this is interesting.
So it's not really a coup per se, just a really passionate dust-up about the independence of the Polish constitutional court. It still reeks of corruption on Tusk's part.
The Founders were right to establish the three co-equal branches of government...

The Founders were right to establish the three co-equal branches of government...
@koshercockneyitutional Tribunal (Trybunał Konstytucyjny) is the country’s constitutional court. It reviews whether statutes, regulations, and international agreements comply with the Polish Constitution; settles disputes over the powers of central state bodies; handles constitutional complaints; and checks the constitutionality of political parties’ aims and activities. It has 15 judges, each elected by the Sejm (lower house) for a single non-renewable 9-year term. The President of Poland appoints the Tribunal’s President and Vice-President from candidates proposed by the judges themselves. It is distinct from the ordinary Supreme Court.
The current “drama” is the latest escalation of a crisis that began in 2015. Before the 2015 election, the outgoing Civic Platform-led government tried to appoint five judges (including for seats that would open after the new parliament took office). The incoming Law and Justice (PiS) majority and President Andrzej Duda rejected some of those appointments, installed their own nominees, and reshaped the court’s procedures. Critics (including the EU, Venice Commission, and European courts) argued this politicized the Tribunal and undermined its independence. The EU’s Court of Justice later ruled that the Tribunal, as composed after those changes, did not meet the requirements of an independent and impartial court established by law.Verfassungsblog
Since Donald Tusk’s coalition took power in late 2023, it has sought to reverse those changes—refusing to publish some Tribunal rulings, treating certain earlier appointments as illegitimate, and having parliament elect new judges. President Karol Nawrocki (PiS-aligned, elected in 2025) has refused to swear in several of them, citing procedural flaws. Tribunal President Bogdan Święczkowski (a PiS-era appointee) has blocked the new judges from sitting or hearing cases.Reuters
On 30 October 2026, one of those parliament-sworn judges, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, issued an order suspending Święczkowski and his deputy for a month and claimed she was taking charge (citing obstruction of the court’s budget and work). Police secured the building; PiS supporters protested and accused the government of a “coup”; the suspended leadership and its backers called the move illegal; Nawrocki cut short a trip to Senegal, returned, and was filmed trying to enter the premises. Both sides accuse the other of unlawful politicization of the judiciary. The standoff has left the Tribunal effectively paralyzed for years.

Thank you, Senator Campbell, for demonstrating why women don't belong in politics.
When you're not making blanket appeals to emotion you're engaging in bitchy catfights—but that's when you're NOT banging any guy who's willing in the most shameless indulgences possible.
Resign.

The "tolerant left," ladies and gentlemen.
Donald Tusk was an EU sycophant when he was in power last time, so it's no surprise to me he's trying to coup d'etat Poland into being yet another EU stooge.
I'm also not shocked we've got leftists advocating for the same thing here.

What Tusk is doing in Poland against the far right, is exactly what Biden should have done, be ruthless, and it's exactly what the Democrats should do if they win 2028
