🚨To all merchants using the @GoPlausible x402 facilitator:
A smart, continuous suspicious transaction monitoring engine has been developed and deployed in the facilitator core🔥
facilitator.goplausible.xyz
Since yesterday, continuous synthetic traffic is not tolerated, and it will ing blocked and asked to communicate to be unblocked again after applying fixes in their deployments so that no continuous synthetic traffic is generated.

We understand the use of synthetic traffic for testing purposes, even on mainnet, and we support it!
Only excessive, serious, continuous synthetic traffic leads to getting blocked!

IMPORTANT: Those merchants who are proxying payments can communicate and provide evidence of end user/agent transactions, and the case will be whitelisted forever.

🧵 GoPlausible’s latest announcement builds on infrastructure already documented in July.

An x402 facilitator supporting @Algorand, @base and @solana

Now: an AP2–x402 demo, a planned public service and a PLAUSIBLE protocol upgrade.

Here’s what’s live and what to watch next. @Algorand published an introduction to @GoPlausible’s x402 Facilitator, describing it as live on mainnet.

It supported Algorand, Base and Solana across mainnet and testnet through one endpoint.

Multichain payment support was already documented.

Its job: verify and settle x402 payments.

The service also included a public dashboard, a directory populated from successful settlements, transaction receipts and AI-powered data queries.

Payment execution and visibility into that activity were brought together.

@Algorand received native AVM and ASA support.

The facilitator also offered MCP integration and API documentation so agents could discover and use it.

That provided developers with tools for charging per API request, data lookup or content access.

Fast-forward to October 26.

@GoPlausible says it integrated AP2 with x402 and used that integration in an agentic-commerce demonstration before Google representatives.

That is GoPlausible’s account of the demo; it does not establish a Google endorsement.

In the same post, GoPlausible said a public service would launch that week.

It attributed the delay to work on upgrading its PLAUSIBLE protocol for multichain support, with additional announcements expected alongside it.

Those are announced next steps.

The distinction matters.

The July article already described a public, multichain x402 facilitator.

The October post discusses AP2 integration and a broader protocol upgrade.

The release details should clarify exactly what is being added to the existing service.

What I’m watching:

→ The public service and documentation
→ The AP2–x402 workflow
→ Networks supported by the upgraded protocol
→ Examples developers can reproduce

Those details will show how the announcement translates into usable infrastructure.

GoPlausible has documented payment infrastructure to build on.

The next chapter is about what its AP2 integration and PLAUSIBLE upgrade add and how @Algorand fits into that wider offering.

A development worth following closely. 👀

@universal_nodeb@Zunivo_ioe@UniverseTwenty ever s@GoPlausiblerating AP2 and x402 and used it for an agentic commerce demo to @Google officials. The public service is co@Google this week.
The delay was because of some internal errands we needed to take care of to upgrade our #PLAUSIBLE protocol to support multichain and now it is almost finished and we will announce it beside some other great stuff we have been working on for months now.

🧵 2.7M+ post-quantum transactions are only part of @Algorand’s story.

Native PQ accounts.
Wallet upgrades without moving assets.
AI-agent payments.
User-controlled authorization.

Here’s what is live—and what comes next. 👇

@Algorand reports 2.7M+ PQ transactions on mainnet, its published comparison.

First by that reported transaction count.

Behind the milestone is a progression from State Proofs to native account signing.

2022: Falcon-secured State Proofs brought PQ cryptography to blockchain-state attestations.

2025: Falcon verification in the AVM enabled PQ transactions through LogicSig accounts.

August 2026: Native Falcon-1024 accounts and related tooling went live.

Native PQ accounts can hold ALGO and other assets, send transactions and interact with applications.

Existing accounts can adopt PQ signing through rekeying:

→ Same public address
→ Same assets
→ Same transaction history

The signing authority changes.

That migration path matters.

Users can upgrade authorization while retaining the address connected to their apps, contacts and payment workflows.

Algorand 5.0 also introduces a flexible signature framework designed to accommodate additional cryptographic schemes.

Developers received more room to build.

Algorand 5.0 doubles maximum application code size from 8 KB to 16 KB.

Updatable applications can expand code capacity and global state, helping existing products grow without starting over.

Now add agentic commerce.

Algorand supports x402 payments for APIs, data and services.

@GoPlausible provides SDKs, examples, a facilitator and integration tooling—including an AP2–x402 extension for A2A.

Payment authorization meets execution.

AC2 adds user-controlled authorization.

The @AlgoFoundation‘s Agentic Communication and Control Protocol lets agents request signatures while private keys remain under user control.

Request → Approve → Execute.

AC2’s documented use cases extend beyond payments:

→ Code deployments
→ API access
→ Client communications
→ x402 payments

The open specification, reference wallet and plugin are available.

The protocol is blockchain-agnostic.

These layers address different security needs:

AC2 → authorization and key separation.

PQ signatures → resistance to quantum attacks.

Together, they illustrate why agent infrastructure needs both controlled permissions and strong signing mechanisms.

Practical payment pilots add another dimension.

The Foundation reported a German Federal Foreign Office and @PoliSync pilot using @HesabPay_ on Algorand for aid payments to Syria.

Reported results: up to 73% lower fees and settlement in under two hours.

Next on the published PQ roadmap:

→ Native Falcon-512
→ PQ multisig
→ Hybrid signing approaches

Falcon-512 and PQ multisig are targeted for the end of 2026, expanding options for accounts, institutional operations and treasury approvals.

Hardware is being explored, too.

Algorand demonstrated Falcon-1024 key generation and signing on a Trezor Safe 5 proof of concept.

Reported signing time: approximately 0.7 seconds.

Bringing this into supported products requires manufacturer collaboration.

The remaining work reaches into consensus.

Research covers a PQ-resistant VRF for committee selection and PQ signatures for consensus messages.

A hybrid Ed25519 + Falcon approach is under consideration.

Broad quantum resilience remains the target for end-2027.

AC2’s next planned step is bounded delegation.

Its launch design requests approval for each signature.

The planned evolution lets users define limits once, with agents acting inside those bounds and returning for approval beyond them.

That’s the bigger picture:

PQ technology already deployed.
Existing accounts able to migrate.
More capable applications.
Agent-payment tooling.
User-controlled authorization.
Further consensus and hardware work ahead.

@Algorand is building across the layers that make these systems usable.
Algorand is now officially #1 in post-quantum across the entire industry 🥇

Over 2.7 MILLION post-quantum transactions on mainnet, more than any other blockchain on the planet.

Others are still talking about the quantum threat. We've been shipping since 2022, and nobody has caught us.

Algorand has this amazing rekeying feature that lets users seamlessly upgrade their existing accounts to PQ signing. How is that NOT a check?

Native PQ accounts are live on mainnet, so you can do this TODAY without changing your address or moving any assets.

Here's the updated re welcome!
Most chains have no quantum plan except "move your funds."

On Starknet, you just upgrade. Same address, new cryptography. That’s what crypto agility actually looks like.

We compared 10 networks. Here’s how they stack up:
Community note
Algorand has supported rekeying since 2020, enabling users to change an account's spending keys (including migration to post-quantum signatures) while keeping the same public address and without moving assets.

Algorand is leading the way on post-quantum resilience with its onchain history protected and native PQ accounts live.

But the road doesn't end there. Securing transactions is only part of the equation, consensus selection needs protection too.

That's where PQ VRF comes in 🧵👇
