Elon Musk has made it clear from the very beginning that Starlink is for peaceful use, not long-range drone strikes.
He deserves enormous credit for helping Ukraine stay connected through this war. His Starlink support was a major factor in why Ukraine was NOT overrun by Russia.

This is incredibly misleading. There was no conviction because Amy Acton's stepfather was never tried. He was arrested for raping 12-year-old Amy, charged, INDICTED BY A GRAND JURY, and then disappeared while the case was pending. A judge issued a warrant for his arrest. These are court records, not Amy Acton's recollections 50 years later.
And Amy didn't simply "reject" her mother. She was TWELVE. She and her brother were removed from their mother's custody. Her brother backs Amy's account today.
Her mother stayed with the man who had been indicted for raping her 12-year-old daughter. Amy hasn't had a relationship with her mother since 1978. So how exactly would this woman know that the adult Amy Acton is a "pathological liar"? She hasn't known her for nearly 50 years.
And saying "there was no conviction" while leaving out the indictment and the fact that he disappeared before he could be tried isn't an argument. It's an omission.

Amy Acton's mother, Donna Arthur, worked as an advocate for abused women and children (with Youngstown Children and Family Services) after being physically abused (including being beaten ) by Amy's biological father, Jerry Stearns.
When Donna remarried in the 70's, Amy and her brother rejected their mother and sided with Jerry...despite watching their mother spend much of her career advocating against victims of abuse.
According to Donna, Amy Acton made rap false allegations against her new husband.
No allegations can be confirmed as fact, and there is NO record of any conviction against Amy Acton's stepfather. It seems we have two liars, accusing each other of being pathological liars… who knew!

There is no Starlink coverage over Russia. We’re talking about Russian military logistics inside occupied Ukraine.

We don’t use Starlink for our responses inside Russia. We use Starlink to intercept jet-powered “shaheds” that attack our civilians and kill families.
Starlink wasn’t turned off – its speed was reduced. And when the speed was reduced, we were unable to intercept a certain number of jet-powered “shaheds.” We couldn’t use a tool that helps protect people. That’s very painful and frustrating.
We also use Starlink for mid-range strikes against enemy military targets in our temporarily occupied territories. We couldn’t do that when the restrictions were in place. And third, what matters most is people. Our warriors, who spend weeks and months on the front line, receive food and water delivered by drones using Starlink.
Has the speed been fully restored to what it was before? No. Is it being restored now? Yes.
