Picked up my first Imprint from a place downtown; The Beast blew me away when I saw it a couple years back, glad to have it in my collection now

Our latest issue is a collection of free art and animation resources we've stumbled across online.
Among others: a 1,300-page guide to character design and hours of behind-the-scenes footage for Hidari, the stop-motion samurai film.

The Farmer (1977) seems like it’ll aim for Rolling Thunder grimness, shifting Nam-era themes to post-WW2. But a jaunty score, plodding pace, and generic gangster/revenge plot instead result in tonally-confused pulp exploitation whose paint-red bloodshed is awesome but oh so brief

Genuinely one of the great horror remakes and arguably the ultimate gem of that mid-‘00s remake era. Distills Craven’s exploitation clan-vs-clan edge to a meatgrinder of grotesque primal survival

Completely forgot about this short oner scene from The Master, or as my stuntman extraordinaire buddy Eric Jacobus put it - “one of the greatest fights in American history.”

Global film distribution has made tremendous progress in recent years, but there are still markets that receive limited exposure internationally. Case in point: the Egyptian film industry. I try to watch a few Egyptian action films a year, but they're not always easy to find.

If STILL WAKES THE DEEP were a movie, it would probably be in my top ten of the year. Oceanic horror adventure that’s like Scottish Deepwater Horizon x The Thing/Blomkamp’s Zygote; would prefer it to be more mechanically involved but the cast, atmosphere, and taut pace are great

I could ding this for the story being practically non-existent and laughably cliched, but none of that lessened my enjoyment at all
If you want Adkins kicking ass and nothing else, Close Range might be even more bang for your buck than Shadow of a Tear

Haven’t watched as much lately due to work, family, hobbies…BUT I did rewatch Life After Fighting! Knowing the second half was coming assuaged some of my pacing gripes, and I felt other fights were interspersed nicely throughout. The ladies of the film really carry the drama too

BITE (2015) isn’t a particularly good movie. In fact it’s downright laughable during all its trashy Lifetime relationship drama. But that doesn’t stop it from being serviceably decent as indie buggy body horror. Cronenberg lite for the back-of-the-videostore-shelf era

Imagine having to remake Possession after Nell Tiger Free already did THAT scene
Robert Pattinson and Parker Finn to produce remake of 1981 horror film ‘POSSESSION’
Pattinson’s acting involvement will be clarified as the script and schedules develop.

Rewatching Ong Bak 2 last night and still blown away by the flex of Tony Jas in his directorial debut with help of Rittikrai to show how effortlessly he can switch fighting styles even in the same fight.
