@GayaniFigma I have a professional plan which i paid for myself but my AI credits are exhausted, is this why i can’t see “send to figma make” anymore? Also what are you guys doing about the AI credits? They exhaust rather quickly 😭

Got a scare from @figma. 'Teams' are now hidden behind 'Switch Plan'. Those things are not related.

I though all files/projects under other Teams are gone.

Hey @figma the latest update completely broke copy-pasting screens between different files using the same component library. This is severely impacting our handoff workflow and team productivity.

Figma is breaking designs.

I copied a screen from one file and pasted it into another. What came out was not what I copied.

The chevron icons turned into solid triangles. The Deploy button lost its width and its label, and now just says "Text." The layout around it shifted too.
screens between files is something designers do every single day. Handoffs, client work, reusing patterns. If a paste can silently break components, nobody can trust the tool with real work.

And the worst part is that it doesn't warn you. Nothing errors out. You only find out when you look closely, and by then you've already built on top of broken components.

We pay for this tool, and our design systems depend on it. Shipping a bug like this to everyone is not acceptable.

@figma this needs a fix.

If your components broke today too, reply. Figma should see how many of us are affected.

Today at Config India, we announced new ways of building in Figma

→ Collab with code on the canvas with Code Layers (open beta)
→ Shape and share context with Specs (open beta)
→ Give your agent more design system context with Guidelines (open beta) and Code Sources (closed ith Payload (rolling out in the coming weeks)

@figma For Specs, I’d want a decision to stay linked to the exact screen and component version it describes. Otherwise a clear spec can quietly become stale after a redesign. Can Specs flag when a linked design changes?

@figma somehow moved files from my personal account into my work one. I go to renew Pro so I can transfer them back, and now I can’t even pay for a Full seat.

@GayaniFigma Thanks for the reply! I love this new shortcut for switching between Design and Draw. The issue is that Alt+` is also used to switch IMEs for Japanese users on US keyboards, which are especially common among engineers here.

Is it me or absolute position icon is missing with the new update?

Hey, I'm Gayani from Figma! That option got renamed to "Ignore auto layout". You can find the icon next to Position in the right sidebar when a child layer inside an auto layout frame is selected. If you're not finding it feel free to send me a DM with a screenshot, and I'll take a look!
