PCS retired members’ chair Sandra Durkin spoke about the Capita pensions crisis for the Insource Now! campaign video today. She was brilliant, explaining the impact on members and why bringing services back in-house matters.

She was joined by workers from UNISON and RMT to help rcing.

The giant cheque represents £6 billion in profits for outsourcing companies from government contracts. Public money that should support services, workers, and the people who rely on them.

Yesterday #PCS general secretary @heathcotefranpcs along with the general secretaries of @ProspectUnion and @FDA_union met with the Welsh First Minister, @RhunapIorwerth to discuss delivery of the programme for Welsh Government 2026-2030.
We also met with @DafyddTrystan MS, overnment effectiveness and the constitution to discuss a wide range of issues from pay coherence to artificial intelligence and workforce change.
The minister also asked PCS for an update on the civil service pensions crisis and how Welsh government can assist.
