He launched the @PoppyLegion London Poppy Day 2026 aboard a Thames River Thames this morning to mark how, for the first time, volunteers will collect donations on board the boats. Today more than 2,500 volunteers and Armed Forces personnel will come together across the capital, aiming to raise £1 million for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
