Crypto Twitter is full of success stories of people going from broke to riches and to a lot of us it just looks like they woke up and made millions from day one. I'll journal my crypto journey with numbers so you can all get a more realistic outlook on

I don't get how you are considered unemployable past 70-80 years old and yet that's the age group exclusively running most countries

Wow. The MEV-boost bug exploit ($25M) from a year ago was just charged by the DOJ, facing up to 20 years for the exploit.

Exploit explained here: medium.com/@zan.top/mev-b…

The indictment from the DOJ for the traders who baited MEV bots is mind-blowing 🤯

It dives into every detail of how the Ethereum block building works and draws analogies to TradFi

This is both
1. A recognition of the power of Ethereum to settle financial transactions
2. A ator on Ethereum into a web of legal compliance requirements

If you need to hook onto ETH P2P network, execute bytecodes on a custom EVM with remote state access, and more... check out some of the code.

Invested money into a MEV strat that @pokerbrat2019 proposed to me this summer.

He promised to launch a couple of days after raising the funds. After many delays and all sorts of excuses the man promised to refund on the 31st of Oct.

He said he's going to get a mortgage and refund on the 18th of December latest

Community Alert: @pokerbrat2019 solicited at least $1.2M from 11 individuals earlier this year for various MEV bots (independent from Rampage) that he claimed would soon be operational.

After initially agreeing to return funds due to countless launch delays PokerBrat has made VID, health issues, exchange issues, extortion, and family problems.

He has kicked multiple people in project chats who ask questions about the delays.

What he does not mention is that he has a criminal background:

In 2002 Poker Brat plead guilty after scamming investors out of $4M (used funds to purchase a car and gamble).

sfgate.com/business/artic…

In 2007 PokerBrat was sentenced to 3 years for fraud after stealing funds from 10+ victims in Colorado.

This community alert will be updated if the investors for the MEV bots see their funds returned as promised.

In a truly decentralized system, trusting the integrity of others shouldn't be necessary. Ethereum's reality, however, deviates from this. Users are compelled to trust block builders and relays, which opens up potential for abuse, contradicting Ethereum's decentralization claims

As someone who has been around for a long time and seen the evolution of ETH, the fees are insane, there's a lot of predatory MEV that preys on end users and the chain is slow. L2s are centralised multisigs controlled by a few key signers.

I still think ETH is great, it's just the future it's heading towards looks like one that does not priortise end users. That's going to push us to look for better experiences.

@jespow do you know why centralized exchanges like @krakenfx allow fraudsters to use their platform without banning their accounts?

etherscan.io/address/0xd6b1…

He funded a wallet from Kraken, created a token and then rugged. He then proceeded to fund his Kraken account again.

Surely it should be easy to ban his account, and freeze his assets?
