Between Gargoyles and the animated Batman series both were amazing series. Art & animation teams to the actor casting.
32 years ago today, ‘Gargoyles’ premiered in syndication.

Puck voice actor Brent Spiner previously revealed on his podcast that an animated revival was in the works at Disney Television Animation.

So by this thinking Tim why are you afraid of disclosure ? You use rating labels as does the whole industry across games, film & TV to help inform. That information lets the consumer decide. Will that mean an Epic dev or partner who decides to not use GENAI will be treated less ?
@mattworkman Forcing developers to write a political statement to be used against them by the hate mob they’re helping organize is abhorrent.

‘COYOTE VS ACME’ has passed ‘SUPERGIRL’ to become the highest-grossing movie produced by Warner Bros this Summer.

The film was almost permanently deleted by Warner Bros for a tax write-off.

This position Ben takes is from a very protected space above the line as an actor and director. Ben is a smart guy and savvy businessman but he’s also very disconnected from what others bring to that process. According to his methodology the same could be said for actors then.
Ben Affleck says the day will come when someone can order up an episode of Succession with a plot they have in mind.

He says that could create an extra revenue stream to replace lost DVD revenue.

Affleck says AI isn’t going to end the film and TV business, but certain parts of amatically affected:

“I wouldn’t like to be in the visual effects business. They’re in trouble because what costs a lot of money is now gonna cost a lot less….And maybe it shouldn’t take a thousand people to render something.”

But he says the cost savings will mean more television programming, not less:

“You might be able to get two seasons of House of the Dragon in a year instead of one.”

Point being still need artists and teams and that the tech doesn’t dictate the craft. Not all of this is ready for every type of production and still selective choices to solve creative and technical problems on a given show.
At View Conference, execs from Sony, ILM, Skydance, and other studios shared their excitement about AI, new production technologies, and creative opportunities.

But amid widespread layoffs and shrinking job prospects, we asked: What about the artists?
