we just shipped the Glide MCP

connect Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor to @glideapps and build on the agent subscription you already pay for

ask your agent to:

> ship an app, Glide hosts it

>query live business data

>build an automation and leave it running

>pull your files and connectors ir agent already knows your work.
Glide adds the platform underneath: hosting, database, permissions, workflows

your teammate can pick up the same app in a different agent tomorrow. the apps, data, and permissions never leave Glide

bring your agent. keep the software 🤝

Very interesting to see that IT departments are being slow to adopt AI, but MSPs are promoting their AI services everywhere.

Wondering if the new MacBook Pro rumored to be touchscreen is planning for more tactile inputs.
Very bullish on drawing.
If a picture is worth a thousand words…

Then drawing is the best prompt.

Reference images are great, but it’s still a form of a copy.

For detailed, custom creative work (or any work) you can imagine how being able to articulate visually is a skill g for)

> whiteboard processes

> ads

> UI

> user journey

> schedules

Spending the time to draw and handing that to an agent seems like a better use of human time than typing prompts

BlueChip. Built in America.

America made the first electronic computer to win a war.

Now we depend on our greatest adversaries to build the computers that run our economy and defend our nation.

Today, we bring it home.

🔥 New: Data Triggers - a powerful way to start an automation.

When your data changes in your apps — for example, when your stock count increments — you may want your software to take action on its own, like sending an email to customers who had that SKU on their wishlist.

Now, er function in workflows, you can automate a process to trigger when any of your data changes.

All you need to do to create these workflows is ask the agent.

Watch @jackmsvaughan break it down in this quick clip.

That was the most insane product demo I’ve ever seen. Well done Tesla!

As someone who geeks out over custom enterprise software, this looks cool. But there’s a big difference between an impressive demo and a practical workflow. Here’s the differences..

You often don’t own the trucks coming and going. Tracking their precise location and “redirecting” them with a click assumes access to carrier data, driver communication, and coordination that the interface itself doesn’t solve.

Same with clicking a forklift and then a pallet. There’s a person operating that forklift. How does the assignment reach them? Are they available? What are they already doing? The animation is the easy part.

It also appears to combine yard management, dock scheduling, and warehouse task assignment into one person playing an all-seeing commander. Those are different responsibilities, often held by different people and rightfully so because there is a lot going on.

Every logistics person I’ve worked with wants useful information density and as few clicks as possible. They’d go nuts having to click on trucks and scroll around.

Industrial software doesn’t need to be boring. But the goal should be less manual coordination and more modular, not just more entertaining.
Industrial software doesn’t have to feel like industrial software

Manage warehouses like you’re playing a strategy game

Getting whiplash with all these models.

Was really enjoying Sol 5.6 but Astra and 6.1 seem to be really sucky recently

Opus 5.5 has been phenomenal though.

I really don’t enjoy the Claude app though, so I will likely stay with Codex/ChatGPT for my daily driver for now

What if booking the escape room felt like part of the game?

A little side project for one of my favorite hobbies to showcase how AI can allow for custom experiences for customers.

Eating at Bubba’s 33 right now, which is a sister brand of Texas Roadhouse.

Really fascinating read on the economics and values of the company.
