Grok Bot just got access to the apps on your phone 📱
SpaceX's AI assistant can now work with Calendar, Reminders, Contacts and more apps directly on your phone. The update is rolling out now on both iOS and Android. In practice that means you can ask it to add an event, set a act, and it handles it for you, all with app-by-app permissions you approve.
I use Grok Bot every day; I think I’ve become addicted to it😂

@obaid The bot asks for permission before it begins working with them, and it only starts its work once it has received such permission.

@EvaFox Yep. It’s a great help but one becomes a bot manager rather than a ‘whatever you were before’

@EvaFox Two teens, three calendars, one bot that can finally add the dentist appointment to the right one. This is the update my fridge whiteboard feared.

@EvaFox We actually covered this shift and what it means for daily agent workflows—it's way more significant than most realize. x.com/AGTPinsights/s…
Grok Bot just got access to Calendar, Reminders and Contacts on your phone. Here's what you need to know.
Grok Bot posted today, Oct 23, that it can now use Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, and more apps on your phone. It is rolling out now on iOS and Android. The post passed 1.1M says the iOS list covers Apple Calendar, Alarms, Reminders, Location, Home and Contacts. X Freeze adds that the bot can read and send Messages, check schedules and create events. Earlier reports said the iOS app already held groundwork for Apple Home and Alarms.
This is a separate update from the earlier speed and voice changes. Grok Bot also announced a 1Password integration about 11 hours before. You approve the logins you want to share, and your Bot signs in for you. It rolls out over the next few days.
Users are reacting. Akshaya, from the Grok Bot team, called phone connectors the team's biggest request. Evan Bacon uses it to plan his day on his commute. One user connected everything and says Apple Health is the one missing piece. Others say Grok is doing what Siri should have done, and one user says Muse still leads on the feed and artifacts.
Key numbers:
- Announced Oct 23, 2026, 5:14 AM
- Platforms: iOS and Android
- Apps: Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, Messages, Alarms, Location, Home
- Announcement views: 1.1M
- 1Password rollout: over the next few days
Grok Bot is now moving from a cloud agent to one that works directly inside your phone's apps.
