LINK:NYC was one of the most institutional rooms I've ever been in. Almost every conversation came back to moving trillions onchain.
For years the line was that the institutions are coming. After this week I'd put it more simply, they're here, and they're building.
What struck me most is how quiet the end state sounds.
Someone buying Apple on Schwab may never know it's tokenized, and honestly, they may not care. Securities that sit idle in brokerage accounts start earning for the people who own them.
Collateral moves just in time instead of just in case. Markets stop closing.
Capital wants to be free and liquid, and the plumbing is finally being built to let it.
I've also come around to the idea that the word crypto may fade. Its exports won't.
Stablecoins, smart contracts and tokenized assets carry far less baggage, and they're quietly becoming part of finance itself.
There will be more tokenized assets tomorrow than there were today, and that trend isn't reversing.
If this is what winning looks like, it won't feel like a revolution. It'll just feel like finance working better.

Was doing street interviews with @EtanBoss @catdaly yesterday and we may have accidentally stumbled into the wildest “date” of all time.
Guy and girl sitting together on a bench. Looksmatched. Naturally we assumed they were together.
Nope.
They’re EXES.
Hadn’t seen each other since February and this was apparently their first time hanging out again…
So obviously we started asking questions.
“How many dates have you been on since the breakup?”
Him: “Zero.”
Her, quietly: “A few.”
Oh no…
“Are there sparks flying again?”
He immediately starts smiling and said we gotta see.
She stares straight ahead: “Maybe.”
We finished the interview and asked if we could post it. He immediately said yes. She said nothing.
Woke up this morning to an Instagram DM from her:
“Please don’t post that video. I am dealing with some stuff I don’t want seen”
How cooked is the dude?
