The iconic @Official_NCFC stripes 🤩
Emirates FA Cup graphic explaining the Notts County crest: two magpies perched on a football above the year 1862, with black and white stripes below. Three labelled sections read: “The Magpies: The central symbol represents the club’s famous nickname, ‘The Magpies’, which stems from the black-and-white colours.” “The Year: This commemorates the club’s traditional foundation year. Notts County are recognised as the world’s oldest professional football club.” “Black & White Stripes: The bottom of the shield mirrors the iconic black-and-white striped shirts the club adopted in 1890. These stripes inspired Italian giants Juventus to adopt their black-and-white kit.”

Plenty of historical elements to the @YorkCityFC club crest 🔙
Emirates FA Cup graphic explaining the York City crest: a shield shaped like a gatehouse, with five lions on a red and white design. Three labelled sections read: “The Bootham Bar: The prominent structure on the crest represents Bootham Bar, one of the historic medieval gatehouses of the city walls of York.” “The Lions: The lions featured with the gatehouse pay direct homage to the City of York Coat of Arms, which displays five lions passant guardant on the red cross of St George. The lions symbolise York’s historical support and loyalty to the English monarchy.” “The ‘Y’ & Castle Elements: The crest features a white ‘Y’ for York alongside castle battlements reflecting the city’s fortifications.”
