Most anons aren’t shadowy super coders.
They’re everyday people that care about privacy.
Edge is the wallet built for everyday anons. Because your privacy is our priority.

Even when the world got weird, the work continued.
By 2021, Edge 2.0 brought a cleaner interface, better organization, and the return of one-swipe send and receive.
Good products evolve. Good principles don’t. #EdgeTurns12

2019: more features, more conferences, more meetups, and a team taking self-custody wherever people would listen.
Crypto markets changed. Our answer didn’t: keep building tools that put users in control. #EdgeTurns12

Wall Street assets have spent decades behind brokerage walls.
Robinhood Chain points toward something different: open, onchain markets you can access from a wallet you control.
Now supported in Edge—with PONS and CASHCAT available today.

The work that did @paullinator and is team is amazing. From our first encounters in 2014 Switzerland to the privacy events, the team did hold on and improved their product. With real contacts with users.

In 2017 we changed our name, but not our mission.
Airbitz became Edge as our focus expanded beyond Bitcoin to bring you more assets and more ways to transact, same client-side security and self-custody underneath it all. #EdgeTurns12

2018 was our first full year as Edge.
We brought multi-asset support, in-app swaps, and a broader crypto experience to users, while keeping the part that mattered most: only you control your funds.
New name. Same edge. #EdgeTurns12

By 2016, Airbitz was more than an app. It was a team, a community, and our home base was in San Diego.
We built, traveled, taught, and kept showing people that controlling your own money didn’t have to be complicated. #EdgeTurns12

One thing crypto still makes harder than it should be: moving between chains.
Every new network means another place to find liquidity and another route to figure out.
@RangoExchange adding Sonic and TRON swaps to @EdgeWallet is a useful step, bringing its coverage to 15 chains.
The benefit for users is simple:
• More networks to swap across
• More routing options
• Fewer steps to think through
The best cross-chain experience lets you focus on what you want to do, without worrying so much about how to get there.

Self-custody gets more useful when you can move across chains without leaving your wallet🛡️
That’s what we’re building with @EdgeWallet: broader swap access through the Exchange screen users already know💙🔄
You choose the destination, We optimally execute in real-time 🤝

Startup life, 2015: crowded offices, moving boxes, team photos, and probably too much coffee.
Airbitz was still young, but the mission was already bigger than a Bitcoin wallet: make security feel human. #EdgeTurns12

This is pretty scary stuff.
Your hardware wallet can be compromised before you open the box.
With Edge, there’s no separate device to buy, ship, or trust. Your keys are created and encrypted on your phone.
Safely self-custody without the mystery chip.

72 hour update on reseller CryptoBilis incident 🔽
As the investigation continues, we are working with relevant authorities. The volume of impacted devices is limited. We know this is concerning, especially for those directly affected, and we are reaching out to impacted users.
To date, all confirmed cases related to the disclosed draining incident of Oct 9th, 2026, involve devices sold through the Southeast Asia reseller CryptoBilis. Our systems and direct sales channels remain unaffected.
We take the CryptoBilis situation seriously and are actively investigating.
We encourage impacted users to reach out to Ledger Support through official channels and file complaints with their local law enforcement authorities. As a reminder, CryptoBilis has confirmed having ceased all sales of hardware wallets.
We are reminding our authorized resellers and distributors to source products only through authorized channels and never to restock returned products.
Also, we strongly advise users not to purchase from unauthorized resellers, where the risk of buying suspicious, counterfeit or modified devices is important as nothing operates under ledger security guidelines.
Security isn’t static and this incident underscores why we continuously review and strengthen our distribution and anti-tamper processes.
We are continuously improving that work now and events like this strengthen our resolution: reviewing authorized reseller controls, advancing hardware protections, and cooperating with authorities. Thanks to @SEAL_911 for their collaborative support and all their efforts.
This is an ongoing threat that doesn’t just impact Ledger, but the whole ecosystem, and we are calling others in the space to work with us on making improvements for users.
We believe in jointly working with researchers, other vendors and partners on improving industry chain-of-custody practices and anti-tamper techniques. Raising the bar on physical supply-chain integrity benefits the entire ecosystem. If you have relevant information, contact security@ledger.com.
For CryptoBilis buyers: do not initialize unused devices. If already set up, move to a new seed on a device from Ledger. If you have concerns that your device was impacted by the CryptoBilis incident, please contact Ledger Support through the official site: support.Ledger.com.
Ledger Support is available 24/7 to answer your questions and concerns.
Scammers often try to take advantage of incidents like this. Rely only on official Ledger channels. Ledger will never call you, DM you, or ask for your 24-word recovery phrase.
