Join us for this week's Neonatal Neurology Around the World Webinar Session with guest speaker, Katrin Klebermass-Schrehof on Thursday (10/15) at 12pm EST: " Neonatal Neurology in Austria ”

Objectives:
1. Describe how neonatal neurology is organised in Austria. This covers the l care, the role of the tertiary centres, and why neonatal neurology works as an interdisciplinary field rather than a formal subspecialty.
2. Summarise the short- and long-term outcomes of extremely preterm infants in Austria. This includes survival trends at 22–25 weeks, the major causes of neonatal morbidity, and neurodevelopmental outcome at 2 and 3 years, benchmarked against international networks such as VON and GNN.
3. Identify the main research areas of the Austrian university centres and the gaps a national network could close. The research areas are neuromonitoring, brain injury (IVH/PHVD), cerebral oxygenation and biomarkers. The gaps include cEEG access, an HIE/seizure registry and standardised follow-up.
