Clinical staffing is one of the largest line items on every health system's P&L – and it still runs on spreadsheets, group texts, and heroics. Premium labor alone costs U.S. health systems an estimated $50B a yeare process for deploying staff hasn't kept pace with how fast demand actually changes.

We did some incredible investments from @cursor_ai (acquired by @spacexai for $60B), @shieldaitech ($12B valuation), Spyce Robotics (acquired by @sweetgreen).
Since then, I have invested in over 20+ startups from @sundayrobotics ($1.2B), Hatch AI (acquired by @Yelp $300M), @mintive (Stanford, @JeffDean-backed), Dream Labs (@nvidia world model team), and more!

In 2012, we posed a question at @firstround: "Students are gifted enough to create amazing companies. Why can't they be gifted enough to invest in those same companies?" The answer we landed on was Dorm Room Fund.
What started as an experiment on Penn's campus (some of the early wn into something far beyond what we imagined. That's largely because of the work of countless brilliant students and, of course, the relentless @themollette.
