People were asked to roll up their sleeves, trust the Government and take the COVID vaccine. They did so in good faith. Some suffered serious, life-changing injuries; others lost loved ones.

In the 27 October debate, Sir Jeremy Wright highlighted the injustice faced by those who ccination but are still waiting for fair treatment.

Baroness Hallett has urged governments across the UK to implement all her Inquiry recommendations, in full and in a timely manner.

Her message, and the evidence of those injured, must not be allowed to disappear into another round of reviews and promises.

The Prime Minister must implement all the Inquiry recommendations without delay.

Those who rolled up their sleeves deserve more than gratitude. They deserve recognition, a fair and compassionate compensation scheme, and justice.

How can the Government expect public trust in future vaccination programmes if it fails to do right by those who trusted it last time?

Where is the urgency to reform the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme?

Where is the urgency to create a scheme that is fit for purpose?

Where is the urgency to reassure the public that when vaccination goes wrong you will be adequately support?

@YvetteCooperMP govuk

Sir Jeremy Wright and @chris_chope both expressed concerns over the lack of urgency during Tuesday's (27 Oct 2026) debate on the Covid-19 Inquiry Module 4 Report: Government Response.

@CMO_England Gov also has a responsibility to look after those who experience severe side effects. That's failing too. Perhaps if VDPS reform was treated with urgency, confidence may grow. May I suggest you push that issue too, as recommendations by the Covid Inquiry

You can suffer a life-changing vaccine injury.

Lose your health. Lose your career. Lose your independence.

And STILL be told you’re not disabled enough for support.

The VDPS 60% disability threshold is cruel and outdated.

The Covid Inquiry called for urgent reform.

WHAT IS FOR?
