Well, with the NBA and the @okcthunder releasing the 2023-2024 basketball schedule, as well as the new Storm Chasers team, I realized I needed to share something with you. I’ve made the decision to hang it up - after 14 amazing seasons hyping up our fans and loving this team as a for this team has been one of the greatest honors - I’ve met so many amazing people, fans, staff, team mates - my “family” is so much bigger because of this experience. I joined the Thunder in 2009-2010, and the energy and excitement was so high. The city and state were united, and so incredibly passionate. I fell in love with that energy.
That energy only grew. I got to experience some of the highest highs, and the heartbreaking lows - but no matter what was happening on the court, the passion and love of the fans never wavered.
Stepping away sucks. I’ve waited until the last possible second to share this, not because I hadn’t made up my mind, but because I didn’t want to accept it. I grew up with this team. I don’t really remember life without planning and scheduling around Thunder appearances, haha. But with my career growing, and my life getting busier, and my desire to be more present with my family, it was becoming harder and harder to keep up with appearances and games, and it was honestly just time.
I’m so thankful for my SC Family; every. single. team I got to hype with were unique and amazing in their own way. I’m thankful for April and Maddie for always keeping me game ready and painted up! You guys made me, me.
Transitioning to being just a “fan” feels weird. I’m never going to be able to hold back that energy but I’m so excited to see what this generation of #Thunder Basketball - and all that talent - become. So, just know, you’ll still hear and see me. I’m going to begging for someone to go to games with me. :)🙂
- and yes, I’ll still be doing the airport thing. ✈️😉

smh - here we go again. Same story.
Transparency concerns?
@MazzeiMike refused our questions at his first press conference since being elected #Oklahoma's next governor.
Earlier today, his team had media crews removed from an OCPAC event that we'd been invited to cover.

Anyone saying “pray for our country” because we took pedophile protectors out of office needs to look in the mirror.

Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

Now is the time.
It's time to organize a voter petition for a State Question to eliminate Straight Party Voting from Oklahoma General Election Ballots.
Who's best qualified to run a bipartisan campaign committee?

A political party that is morally and intellectually bankrupt deserves the rebuke of the American people.
It is now time to make America good again.
That is an endeavor to which all Americans can contribute, for we are not Democrats, Republicans or Independents. We are humans, and the things that unite us far exceed the things that divide us.
We are the caretakers of the American experiment, and the experiment has been rejuvenated tonight.

James Talarico, a Democrat, is quoting Scripture in his victory speech, and the crowd is cheering.
Democrats don’t hate religion. We hate watching people weaponize it.
Faith isn't the problem. Using God as a weapon against your neighbors is.
