Yesterday, my daughter, Kyra, passed away peacefully after a 9 month and 11 day fight against one of the cruelest diseases I’ve ever seen up close. She was diagnosed with Brain Cancer, specifically Glioblastoma. I have felt all of your concern and love for these months and ore specific than I was.
Kyra was a 28-year-old young woman who loved deeply and who is impossible to describe in 280 characters. While her life got stolen from her, she handled these months with courage, poise, and resolve. And all I want is for no family to feel what we feel today. For no young person to suffer the way she did.
In lieu of flowers, if you are moved to make a memorial gift, please consider “The Kyra Fund” (fundraise.gbmresearch.org/thekyrafund)
This fund will be used solely to research treatments for Glioblastomas.

An anonymous donor just took The Kyra Fund over $1.1 million. So many people have been so generous. Thank you. We’ve only just begun. Kyra Samson will never be forgotten. Say her name loudly, and think about the impact of her life, a life cut short, but lived with glorious N02q4xqyz

We discussed this on today’s NPDS. Very telling. Very.
After a weekend of nonstop frantic discussions and negotiation, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 pm at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, sources told ESPN.
The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to eader, just as the Hawks did for Game 4. This allows a potential Game 7 to remain scheduled for Halloween at Chase Center in San Francisco.
All three Finals games in Atlanta have required hurried adjustments to the schedule at State Farm Arena. It took collective efforts from the WNBA, NBA, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, Dream, Valkyries and broadcast partners to figure out the best course of action again.
By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500 seat Gateway Center.
The other option under strong consideration was moving Game 6 to an open date at State Farm Arena on Friday and Game 7 to an open date at Chase Center on Tuesday, November 3.

Is anyone paying attention? Is Woody in England? He will be fired before next season as surely as the sun will rise tomorrow. #waittosee
" Maybe we should've called our timeouts to get it back, but at that point, we just felt like we were going to stop them and be able to get the ball back"
Aaron Glenn says the Jets should've used their timeouts at the end of the first half:

Didn’t think Dolphins would get first win before Heat, but, here we are. Used reverse psychology on @LeBatardShow to help and happy I did.

I think Aaron Glenn may/should get fired at halftime. Unprecedented? Necessary? You’re welcome @LeBatardShow. Dolphins won’t go winless. They can’t lose this game. Can they?

David and my daughter were sick and going through cancer treatments at the same time. David would check in on Kyra and me every week. Selfless and caring all the way. I loved speaking with him both on and off air. F**k cancer.
Last night, my longtime radio partner, David Moulton died. For 20 years, he and I did Miller and Moulton. The only reason my name was first is because Miller and Moulton sounded better than Moulton and Miller. Make no mistake, he was top billing.

Brewers are brewing and Rays uncharacteristically fundamentally unsound. Two more wins and Brewers are world champions. So close to being in the first row.

NFL is in a real pickle in Paris. Game should have been moved days ago. Now, the logistics make it hard. But playing it is not smart. Resources needed elsewhere in the city. But, are you surprised? #waittosee

More protests scheduled for tomorrow. According to my sources, ingress and egress a problem at 5-star hotels. Roger may need to order room service. But, the show must go on. Or does it?
As the NFL pushes forward with its plan to stage Steelers-Saints in Paris on Sunday despite ongoing unrest, a soccer match set for Sunday night has been postponed at the direction of the local authorities. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…
