I wanted to make a film that behaves more like a song than a screenplay.
Every shot is a lyric.
The sound design is the melody.
The audience writes the story in the space between them.
Instead of photographing the plot, the camera photographs the emotional residue started calling the approach Emotional Displacement Cinematography, and this film was my first experiment with it.

Jordan putting another nail in Hollywood’s coffin. Exploring more emotional depth over spectacle and absolutely nailing it. You e been programmed to turn it off after five seconds without spectacle, don’t.
What makes something beautiful?
For centuries they said, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", meaning you get to decide what's beautiful, and no one can take that from you.
Now, they want to take that back. Now, they want to tell you what's beautiful, what is art, what is orthy.
The good news is...
Who cares what they think?
Who cares what they say?
They have no power.
Their words are dust.
You decide what's beautiful and moving, exciting and entertaining.
Art is yours to love or hate.
No amount of gold and worship placed at the feet of one piece of art should sway us to value it. And no screeching voices, or shrill cruelty demanding you surrender your opinions should steal it away.

Hopefully this little film exemplifies that Seedance 2.5 have completely changed the game when it comes to performances. I have NEVER been able to get such perfectly dialed emotions, even with SD2. This was the first time I was actually moved by a performance.
I felt something real.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you head over to @capcutapp Creator Studio, select Seedance 2.5, and see what kind of performances you can bring to life. We have enough fight scenes where no one gets hurt, sweeping aerial shots, and dragons breathing fire to last us a lifetime.
Let's try something new because now... we can.

Such a creative piece. It was fun to do the sound design and music on this. Don’t miss it!
Let's be honest, the average SPEC AD is... boring.
I don't think this is because the AI filmmakers and directors are boring, I think it's because they're making what they think clients will like instead of creating something they themselves like.
If a client said, "Make whatever you want", what would you create?
When @kyoso_ai asked me to create a SPEC AD on their platform, they said, "It can be any product you want and you have creative control."
I was booked, so I pulled one of the BEST AI FILMMAKERS I know onto the project – Nate
@xdeconstructed. I asked Nate to create a spec commercial for a wild product that didn't exist; To create something that was different, and weird, and heartfelt, and fun, and most importantly... something that HE WANTED to see and not just something he thought a client would want to see.
We have to temper our creative ideas when working with brands because we need to SERVE them, and not create something that simply serves ourselves. However, if you're making a SPEC COMMERCIAL, make what you want to make.
Why?
Because people hire you to make something that feels like the last thing you just made. So make something that's very... you.

Apennine Colossus (Colosso dell'Appennino), a 11m statue created around 1580 by sculptor Giambologna. It is located in the gardens of the Villa Demidoff (formerly Villa di Pratolino) in Vaglia, just north of Florence, Italy 🇮🇹
Built over 420 years ago, the Apennine Colossus ck core encased by a carved stone exterior. There's even a secret room behind his head with a fireplace that blows smoke through his nostrils. Completed around 1580, the Apennine Colossus was designed by Flemish sculptor Giambologna for the Villa di Pratolino, the Medici family's lavish estate outside Florence. Standing approximately 35 feet (10.7 meters) tall, the giant represents the Apennine Mountains, the range that stretches the length of Italy. More than a statue, it was an engineering marvel that blended sculpture, architecture, and hydraulics.
The Colossus was hollow, containing several rooms and mechanical features. A chamber inside the head included a fireplace, and when lit, smoke escaped through the giant's nostrils, creating the illusion that the mountain itself was breathing. Water also flowed through the structure to power fountains and animate hidden water features throughout the surrounding gardens, which were among the most spectacular in Renaissance Europe.
Although much of the original Villa di Pratolino was demolished in the 19th century, the Apennine Colossus survived and remains one of Giambologna's largest and most extraordinary works, attracting visitors more than 440 years after it was built.

AI visuals are only half the story. Great sound is what gives them weight, emotion, and credibility.
At Nuum, I create cinematic sound design, dialogue editing, and music that make AI films feel like they were captured, not generated.
If you're looking to give your next AI film h it deserves, let's build something unforgettable.

What’s the point of 4K?
Honestly, most people use 4K for those hyper-detailed, slow-mo macro shots. And I get it—they work because they grab attention. But I’m interested in something else: a raw, realistic aesthetic that feels less like a digital file and more like a real es you to stop and watch, rather than just scroll past.
When @capcutapp invited me to try Seedance 2.0 4K, I didn't want to make just another promo ad. I wanted to see if I could push the tech into territory that feels like a real film.
I set up a few stress tests to see if this 4K could handle cinematic storytelling:
- Dark Environments: Low-light gradients that usually turn to digital mush at lower resolutions.
- Vibrant Color: Hyper-saturated schemes that often band and block.
- Macro Shots: Using those "attention-grabbing" angles, but giving them a narrative purpose rather than just using them as a gimmick.
I channeled the gritty, flashing-light aesthetic of Gaspar Noé for this. (A quick warning: his films are intense—careful.)
The result is "Salty."
Seedance 2.0 4K handled the mood and the detail better than I expected. Whether you're making films for fun or for a living, it’s a powerful tool for bringing those wilder, cinematic ideas to life.
Huge thanks to the team at CapCut for trusting me with early access to Seedance 2.0 4K. Getting to experiment within CapCut Video Studio was a true honor—I really appreciate the creative freedom they gave me for this film.
