Australian officials have issued a reminder to shut your car doors after one wombat helped himself to several passenger seats. The notice followed complaints from visitors at a popular picnic area, where the same wombat reportedly kept climbing into parked cars while people up lunch.
At first, staff thought they were receiving several calls about one incident. Then they realized the cars were different. The passenger wasn’t.
One couple waited nearly an hour before he climbed out. Another visitor said he settled into the seat before she’d even finished putting her things in the boot. Officials asked visitors to keep their doors closed and contact staff if they found an unexpected occupant.
After the photos spread online, a park spokesperson clarified the situation. “He hasn’t been abandoned. He lives here. Please stop calling to say someone’s left their wombat in a car.”

walrus calves stay with their mothers for a couple of years compared to seals who only take care of their pups for weeks. this sweet baby will need a lot of care and I believe they were rescued by the Alaska sealife center 🥺🥰

Glad to see some recognition from someone qualified to notice. Dallas still has a lot of issues with their 5v5 offense (even after last night) but they've been a lot better at trusting the blue line to carry the puck and timing the zone exit.
One of the more difficult breakouts to forecheck is when the D is able to wheel and gain the net
Here, DAL55 draws two forecheckers and traps them with a pass to the strong side wall. Centre support underneath allows the puck to get back into the dot lane, trapping another s DAL53 to gain middle ice and attack the weak-side D, creating space and setting up the entry

let me guess, a local beat reporter doesn't believe in a stat his team sucks in, its a tale as old as time.
The most overrated publicly available stat is expected goals for and against.
It is stunning how many base a team’s success off of that stat. The public models are not close to accurate.
