@Obsidianrayyne @SMUSC Because Ds have proven they will crossover in primaries and return to their affiliation in general. We had a R candidate here that literally made an ad begging Ds for support in a tight primary.

@locotx_ftw_2002 I think you missed both my point and Tarrant’s significance.

@DLoesch EXACTLY!! Those "we're winning" numbers count Dems who crossed over in the primary. Don't fall for it, Texas. The only lead that counts is the one on election night. VOTE, bring 3 friends, vote Paxton and vote Red up and down the ballot!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

@gilshivers To be fair, that wasn’t French’s fault, it was a special election in which the Rs were split against the D in the first round and the fracture robbed the Rs of a win.

@_nightjuice_ It’s suggesting that Ds may over-perform Rs if Rs daily to turnout as they’ve done during previous midterms.

🚩Don't believe these memes!🚩
As a former TCGOP precinct chair, I'd look up local left wing activists voting history and most of them voted in the Republican primary. So,when we see these #s we must subtract a lot,bc they for sure are voting D in the midterm.
I told a guy today to stop sone from Fox because it will cause Rs to think we're safe and we aren't.
Texas needs to close their primaries and fulfill Jill Glovers work.

@ShamashAran I asked a couple of party officials if they can look into and make public the number crossovers from previous primaries to see how this gaming of the system is growing.

If you’re going to share a graph on Tarrant, share this one. It’s matching early voting with the voter’s historical primary vote because, again, Texas doesn’t have party registries.
Tarrant County, Texas (Days 1 - Days 5).

Let me add a concerning layer to this: In the 2022 Tarrant County Judge race against Tim O’Hare, Betsy Price made a commercial asking Dems to crossover and vote for her in the primary. Sore Rs have worked the open primary system to get Ds to crossover and help them win.
A lot of Ds are being counted as Rs by some who are assuming they’re all Rs based on previous mixed primary. That’s why I carefully said this is being judged based upon those Rs who have historically only voted in GOP primaries.
