DAV believes in taking care of America’s veterans—but not by taking away from other veterans. The Take Care of America’s Veterans Act includes critical priorities for veterans and their families. But Congress must not pass TCAVA at the expense of future veterans who are equally d benefits. Congress must remove Section 108 and then pass TCAVA.

The Major Richard Star Act would correct an unfair policy that prevents some medically retired combat-injured veterans from receiving their full military retirement pay and VA disability compensation.
