Two crypto-industry companies disclosed they attribute to AI agents. Blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis said attackers using "offensive agentic techniques" reached its systems and internal tools in October, accessing some customer names, emails, user IDs and role labels; it took products including Reactor offline while outside experts review security (Help Net Security, Nov 2–3).
Documentation host GitBook said an attacker using AI agents got into some infrastructure credentials on Nov 2; it shut services down and revoked customer access tokens, and API tokens, integration and Git Sync secrets may have been exposed (Decrypt, Nov 3). Neither company has said exactly how the agents were used.

@OpenAI India MD Prabhjeet Singh told ET that India is now ChatGPT's largest market by weekly active users, with the Indian user base doubling since January 2026 (OpenAI said in February India had 100M+ weekly users). OpenAI is expanding ChatGPT ads in India to support free and ngside paid plans, with Razorpay's Engage platform helping brands such as Tanishq and Fastrack advertise. Singh said advertisers won't get personal data and ads won't influence answers, and UPI/payments announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
