The newly established Gelephu Central Bank can include digital assets in its reserve portfolio alongside traditional investments, following a Royal Decree issued by King Jigme k.
The bank will operate within Gelephu Mindfulness City, where it will manage monetary policy, oversee reserves and supervise financial institutions.
The provision allowing crypto investments gives the institution flexibility to diversify its reserves without making digital assets a mandatory holding.

The FBI attributed the attack to North Korea.
Binance says $2.85B has been frozen, and 98% of affected tokens have been replenished using company funds.
