I was pleased that my legislation, the Student Aid Fraud Oversight and Accountability Act, was included in H.R. 7892. It's time to get this critical legislation across the finish line and signed into law. Hardworking Americans have been forced to foot the bill for these bad actors for too long, but this legislation will protect taxpayer money and ensure deserving Americans have access to college classrooms.

BREAKING: The DOJ is exposing a major student loan fraud scheme targeting Americans who never attended college, with stolen identities allegedly used to create fake students and obtain taxpayer-funded financial aid.
Assistant Attorney General Colin McDonald says fraudsters are llege applications, submit coursework, and even create the appearance of students attending virtual classes, tricking schools into believing real people are enrolled.
"Some even create the appearance of a fake student in an online classroom to trick schools into believing a real person is present... The goal is to keep the ghost student in school for as long as possible."

I had a great time touring the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority this week. This facility provides vital waste management and recycling services to businesses and residents across Centre County. Thanks to their efforts, the county has achieved a recycling rate of over tinues to increase!
