How much JavaScript syntax do I need to memorize before I'm allowed to call myself a software developer?

I have four years of experience in Python, the only language I properly learned.

But I know what to build, how the pieces connect, and why architecture, security and deployment matter.

Yet I still get called a vibe coder, in a derogative sense, by more experienced developers.

I’m comfortable having gaps in my knowledge. That’s why I keep learning and having fun😉

I’m selling advent calendars to Croatian webshops. Two days of cold outreach, and these are the results.

I start with a compliment and a question: “Do you have a Christmas promo planned?” Then I introduce the wer, and I send a short demo video.

Emails only go to companies without a listed number.

No sales yet. But I have no doubt that that will follow soon ☺️

I work in Claude and use @treg_ai to find leads for my cold outreach.

For my advent campaign it found 102 perfect, niched-down leads.

I’ve messaged 18 so far.

One already asked for an offer, and another asked for a bit more info, seems using treg for all my outreach now. Highly recommend!

MacBooks are not that expensive, Air is quite affordable, not to mention Neo.

@v_jug I have a Legion Lenovo that's strong and robust and it's still working great. When it starts breaking down, my next one will be a MacBook, hopefully the Pro version I got now as well, it's amazing.
