IT WELCOME TO DERRY just surprise dropped a Halloween special - and it is not what the headline says.

HBO Max dropped a 30 minute standalone at midnight Oct 31 titled A Story of Derry - takes place hundreds of years before Pennywise.

Logline - three youngsters venture into the Western Wood where they encounter a terrifying ancient spirit. No Bill Skarsgard in this one - this is pre clown.

Generations ago, when the Kollu first preyed on our people, we left warnings for those who would come after. But we hid the truth inside a gentler tale, one our children could carry. This is the story we do not teach. This is the part we left out.

Fans are reading this as origin of the Shokopiwath tribe - the indigenous people referenced in Episode 4 that explains why IT cannot leave Derry. Western Wood is new location - never in Stephen King novel.

Context - show premiered Oct 26 and did 5.7 million viewers in 3 days - third biggest HBO debut ever behind House of the Dragon and The Last of Us. 620 million minutes Nielsen first week. Already renewed for Season 2 set in 1935 about the Bradley Gang massacre - bank robbers who stop in Derry to buy ammo.

Now streaming on HBO Max - all 8 episodes of Season 1 plus this special. x.com/hbomax/status/…

Jack’s been mostly out of sight since his last movie in 2010, and he’s never officially retired. Douglas, who produced Cuckoo’s Nest, says he’s healthy and still around the house in his slippers. At 89, after that many iconic roles, quietly disappearing on his own terms feels earned.

Steep drop from its $24M open, but Clayface is still looking at a ~$10M second weekend on a $44M budget. With solid audience scores, that’s a viable outcome. Low-cost DC horror is a smarter play than the expensive swings that keep missing. Holding second on Halloween weekend is respectable.
"Clayface” landed at No. 2 at the box office on its second Friday, making $3.3 million.

Speed as Miles just works. Young, loud, city energy and the rooftop shots with the Empire State lit up make it feel real instead of a costume. Fits the chaotic streaming guy who treats every moment like a Spider-Verse scene.

Camila as Betty and Madelaine as Wilma just fits. Their actual friendship already has that next-door energy, and Amber Asaly’s shots make the jagged dresses and pearls feel sharp instead of costume-y. Riverdale girls still know how to do Halloween right.

The generator coughed once, then settled into a steady growl behind the building. Lena stood in the middle of the aisle with a flashlight under her chin, labeling the last of the canned tomatoes by hand. Outside, rain slapped the pavement hard enough to bounce. The power company had promised the outage would end by noon. It was now half past three, and the streetlights were still dark.

She had opened the doors anyway. A handwritten sign taped to the glass read: Open. Cash only. Lights may flicker. Sorry.

For the first hour, no one came. Lena rearranged the same three rows of bread twice and told herself the rain was the reason. Then the bell above the door—still slightly crooked from when she’d hung it—gave a damp, tired ring.

A teenage boy stepped in, water dripping from the hood of his jacket. He looked around at the dim interior, then at Lena.

“You got batteries?” he asked.

“Third aisle. AA and AAA. Flashlights too, if you need one.”

He nodded and disappeared between the shelves. When he returned, he set two packs of batteries and a cheap plastic flashlight on the counter. Lena rang them up on the old calculator she’d brought from home because the register needed power.

“Your place just opened, right?” he said.

“Yesterday.”

“My mom said the old one closed because nobody shopped there anymore.” He shrugged, almost apologetic. “She told me to check if you had the kind of soup my little brother likes. The one with the stars

How I Fvck My Aunty And Her Daughter 💋

The night had started as a normal family dinner at Aunt Lila’s place. My cousin Maya, twenty-two and sharp-tongued, sat across from me in a thin tank top that kept slipping off one shoulder. Lila, her mother, poured wine and kept laughing ne of her dress dipping low enough that I caught the soft swell of her breasts every time she leaned forward.👙

After the dishes were cleared, Maya dragged me upstairs “to show me something on her laptop.” The door clicked shut. She turned, eyes dark. “Mom’s been watching you all night. And I’ve been watching her watch you.” Her hands were already under my shirt. I pushed her against the wall, kissing her hard while I yanked the tank top over her head. She moaned into my mouth as I palmed her tits, thumbs circling her nipples until they stiffened. I spun her, bent her over the bed, and shoved her shorts down. She was already wet. I thrust into her from behind in one long stroke; she gasped and pushed back, taking me deeper. The bed creaked. I fucked her steady and deep, one hand fisted in her hair, the other gripping her hip. She came first, clenching around me, whispering my name.

The door opened. Lila stood there in the hallway 👄light, dress still on, eyes fixed on where I was buried in her daughter. Maya looked back over her shoulder, still panting. “Mom… come here.”

Lila closed the door. She crossed the room, reached between her daughter’s legs, and stroked Maya’s clit while I kept fucking her. Then she looked at me. “Don’t stop.” She kissed Maya’s shoulder, then leaned in and kissed me, tasting wine and heat. I pulled out of Maya long enough to strip Lila’s dress off. Her body was softer, fuller. She pushed Maya onto her back and straddled her face, settling her pussy over her daughter’s mouth while she reached for my cock. Maya’s tongue worked her mother as Lila guided me back into Maya’s cunt. I fucked Maya while Lila rode her face, Lila’s breasts bouncing, her hand rubbing her own clit. The room filled with wet sounds and low moans.

Lila came first, grinding down on Maya’s mouth. She slid off, kissed her daughter’s wet lips, then turned and offered me her ass. I took her from behind while Maya lay beneath them, licking her mother’s clit and my shaft every time I pulled back. Lila’s cunt was tighter, hotter. She reached back and pulled me in harder, telling me to fill her. I did—deep, slow strokes that made her moan into the mattress. Maya kept licking, tasting both of us. When I came, I stayed buried in Lila, pulsing, while Maya sucked the base of my cock and her mother’s dripping cunt.

Afterward the three of us stayed tangled on the bed, breathing hard, Lila’s fingers still lazily stroking Maya’s thigh, Maya’s hand resting on my stomach. No one spoke for a long time.

In Montréal this week, under a canopy of Canadian and EU flags, Mark Carney stood with Ursula von der Leyen and António Costa and did something he had carefully avoided for weeks: he said the quiet part out loud.
Canada is working to become the European Union’s first associate ship. Not a sudden divorce from the United States. But the deepest possible partnership short of accession—an “Alliance for the Future” built on critical minerals, AI, energy, digital trade, and defense industrial cooperation. A deliberate attempt to loosen the grip of a single market that still takes more than 70% of Canada’s merchandise exports.
The timing is no coincidence. Trade talks with Washington collapsed in August. Tariffs escalated. The old language about Canada as the 51st state returned. Carney’s response has been a steady “Canada Strong” pivot: diversify or remain exposed.
Yet the summit also revealed the limits. Inside the EU, Germany (led by Friedrich Merz) treated the “associate member” label as a red line. Negotiators stripped it from the formal joint declaration, settling instead for the safer phrase “ever-closer association… short of full membership,” details to be worked out later. Carney and von der Leyen kept using the term anyway—ambition on the podium, caution in the text.
Practical wins still landed: a concluded Digital Trade Agreement, European Investment Bank financing for Canadian critical raw materials, access to the EU’s JUPITER supercomputing network, and steps on LNG, undersea cables, youth mobility, and Ukraine support. Real industrial and technological stitching, even if the institutional label remains contested.
The clock is now set. Canadian ministers and European commissioners meet in March. Carney is invited to the European Council in June. Between now and then, both sides must decide whether this is a genuine new architecture of sovereignty for middle powers—or another set of warm declarations that leaves the old dependencies largely intact.

A man walked into an expensive shoe store, tried on several pairs, and spent nearly half an hour comparing them.

Then he decided not to buy anything.

The saleswoman’s smile disappeared.

“Sir, are you actually planning to purchase something, or are you just here to waste our time?”

“I’m still deciding,” he replied.

She called security.

Within minutes, the man was being escorted toward the entrance while other shoppers stared.

Before leaving, he looked at her and said calmly,

“Interesting. I wonder if your manager knows how you treat people when you think they have no money.”

She laughed and turned back to the next customer.

She had no idea who she had just sent away….

A few years later, I got engaged to the woman I loved. I went to my father and respectfully asked if he could support us with a little money for the wedding.

He laughed and said, "You are a man. If you want to marry, you should be able to sponsor your own wedding. I cannot carry your responsibilities."

I was hurt, but I accepted his decision.

My fiancée and I cancelled our expensive plans, borrowed chairs from neighbours, cooked food with the help of relatives and held a small wedding in our family compound.

Some relatives mocked us, but we endured it.

🎬WAS SPIDER-MAN; "NO WAY HOME" PROOF THAT PETER PARKER CAN NEVER BE A HERO WITHOUT RUINING EVERYONE HE LOVES

Peter wanted his friends to get into college, so he asked Strange to mind-wipe the planet.

That one selfish spell pulled in villains, killed Aunt May, and ended with everyone forgetting he ever existed.

He tried to save his girlfriend and ended up alone on Christmas with no one.

Is Peter cursed, or does he just keep choosing to be Spider-Man knowing it kills everyone around him
