I asked Jeff Traylor about his history with FAU head coach Zach Kittley, who was the OC at Western Kentucky in 2021.
UTSA defeated WKU 52-46 in the regular season and 49-41 in the C-USA Championship game.

I've said it, and I stand by it. I think he's one of the greatest offensive minds in our business. He's a good friend of mine also. Tons of respect.
That's all I can say. He's just as good as they come, man. He's a good human. I enjoy our friendship, and I really appreciate competing against people that do it right, and he's a really good coach.
You don't ever like playing your friends, but you have great respect for the guys that do it right, and Zach does it right.”
