Today I launch my landmark dataset: The Childhood Lottery.📍
Children feel it's harder to grow up in some places than others. Now I've brought together the evidence showing what a child’s experience is like in every postcode.

My mission has always been to ensure politicians listen to children's voices. That includes keeping children safe online and holding tech firms to account. Great speaking with Ian Murray, Minister for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport today.

Feeling safe in their local area and how children are policed are two of the biggest issues young people talk to me about.
Thank you to Minster for Policing and Crime, Sarah Jones for listening to young people's concerns in our meeting today @LabourSJ @ukhomeoffice

The findings of my new report were stark. It shows the postcode lottery for children is very real – and not simply explained by poverty. I want to thank everyone for engaging and highlight some interesting points raised about the report in my blog👇🏼

I was pleased to contribute to the Bell review. School is where children should feel safest. But I was shocked by the abuse and antisemitism faced by Jewish children. The recommendations must lead to better protection for children and more support for teachers.
Antisemitism has no place in our schools, colleges or society.
We accept all 27 recommendations from Sir David Bell’s review. We will equip schools and colleges to identify and challenge antisemitism, strengthen Holocaust education and help every young person learn in safety.

@Rachel_deSouza Georgia Gould: The Child Lottery exposes how infrastructure around children and families has been cut back. Gov working to help young people thrive across the board. Young people tell me they want decisions taken closer to home by local leaders, so services respond to challenges.

@Rachel_deSouza Tim Bowman: In some ways, lost our focus on delivering for every child. Need to look at children’s issues and how we can better support children’s experiences. Devolution offers the chance to look at how we support workforce to deliver for children.
