Health Update: Stem Cell Transplant
I had a doctor appointment last Wednesday. He loved the results and asked when will i be ready and i told him i am now but i need time since it costs around $100k which i don’t have. So he did few calls and he managed to get the health HOLE thing!
I spent the last 3 days in the hospital where they managed to collect enough cells to freeze for the transplant in the most brutal process ever
Now i’m back home recovering and taking my prescribed meds, and i have another appointment on Monday so he can check everything and tell me when i’m gonna start the isolation phase
During the isolation phase they will nuke my whole immune system with chemo for 6 consecutive days and then inject the frozen cells they took. They told me the process should take 23 days
Will keep you guys updated through every phase with all the details as usual
Will forever be grateful and thankful for the endless support ❤️

Helius' Ichigo says Solana can't bring banks on-chain while everyone can see their transactions
"Going back to my criminology days, you have Bentham who basically said, 'Hey, we can make the perfect prison where you have a giant watchtower in the middle and a circle around it, inward'"
"Literally Eye of Sauron. You don't know if the watchtower is watching you, so you always behave as if you were being watched"
"So crypto takes this beautiful idea of privacy and selective disclosure and then just puts it on steroids. Then Solana really pumps it because it's fast, it's scalable, people can actually use it"
"And so it gets to a point where you have this auto-panopticon, where it's like a self-sustaining system of voluntary exposure, in which that watchtower has now become a ledger, it's become a dashboard, it's become your Twitter feed"
"And we're basically monitoring ourselves and calling it freedom"
"It's like, okay, well, if we actually want to bring finance on-chain, you can't bring banking on-chain if everybody can see it"
"There's no way that a huge bank client will be like, 'Yeah, I want everybody to know that I sent 20 bucks to this person and I invested in this company'"
"It just doesn't make any sense"

Helius' Ichigo says Solana could avoid hundreds of millions of dollars in annual token issuance under an inflation proposal that passed in August
"A lot of the unlocks are behind us. So what's this continued high issuance actually doing? It's like, okay, it's adding unnecessary ou have sell pressure, depending on which jurisdiction you're in, you'd have to sell to cover a portion of taxes"
"For example, some places, the US, staking rewards are treated as ordinary income. So you get staking rewards, you're gonna have to pay taxes on that"
"So you end up selling SOL to these centralized exchanges like Coinbase and Binance, who are competitors to Solana. We're pushing the price down, we're paying taxes"
"And so when you have people like governments, centralized exchanges, and custody providers taking significant cuts of staking rewards, even just a small reduction in issuance can save us hundreds of millions of dollars a year"
"And getting rid of that sell pressure, we get rid of that persistent downward price pressure"
"It's not all about number go up, but at the same time, it's this whole psychological thing of, okay, if we have very distorted market signals and we hinder fair price comparison, what does that say?"
"If we had a publicly traded company who is executing a small share split every two days, most people would be like, 'What the hell is going on there?'"

How i ended up building a city in Minecraft
As an engineer, i find peace and joy in building, designing, constructing, assembling, drawing...
it kinda hit the sweet spot for me and i need help, i need someone to STOP me (actually i need someone to build with me 😅)

Tom Cruise says the rumors about how intensely he works are true
“People that work with me, they know I expect a lot and I'm upfront about it. It's like, the rumors are true and do you want this?”
Zach Baron: “But do you say that?”
Tom: “Yes. If we're there, I'm like, trust . I'll be here before you”
“What experience do you want? And I'm very open and it's not like we don't have a plan. We have scripts. We have plans. We're going through it, but I also feel the level of responsibility for everyone”
Zach: “Do you feel like you're understood when you say this stuff, that people get it?”
Tom: “There's things that I didn't say for many years. I know the people I work with, we all kind of feel the same thing. We want to do well. We want to understand why do things work? Why don't they work?”
“When you start doing something, I'm an all in kind of guy, Zach. I don't know what to say. Life, I'm coming right at it. It's coming at me and I'm coming right at it. I'm 100%. I am not a halfway kind of person”

Tom Cruise says he jumped off a roof at four years old after making a parachute out of his bedsheets
“Zach, that's exactly it. I want to say in its simplicity, to me, and it's always been that's life. Now, I want to train so I can open the parachute. You know what I mean?”
ook the monkey bars, I pulled it over and my mom was in the thing and I had this GI Joe. You know, you throw it up. I've told this story before”
“A parachute goes down, ripped the sheets off my bed, took ropes, and I climb the monkey bar, climb up on the roof, climb up on the high bar, and I jumped off”
“Didn't work, so you want to go, at that moment, I remember I was about four years old. I was like, there's something more to this than this”
“Went back, looked at my GI Joe. I was like, okay, I don't understand this, but I'm not doing that again, but I'm going to figure it out one day”
Zach Baron: “And you did”

Tom Cruise says he does not fear death after riding motorcycles off cliffs and hanging from airplanes
Zach Baron: “You have literally ridden a motorcycle off the edge of a cliff, and then deployed a parachute. You've hung off the side of multiple different styles of airplane. My you fear death?”
Tom: “Look, I think you could look at my life and go, I like standing on the edge of a cliff physically and metaphorically, meaning I look at life as an adventure and I always have”
“I want to understand people. I want to understand life and cultures and if I wonder what are those people? How do they feel? Do they think the way I do? Do they laugh at the same thing? How do I connect with them?”
Zach: “I asked if you feared death. I mean, I do think that mortality has become, particularly in the ‘Mission’ films, I think audiences are actually watching to see, like, is this guy going to be okay?”
Tom: “But here's the thing, how do we use these tools to create an emotional effect on an audience and is it communicating what we want to communicate? So do I fear death? No, I don't”
“It's not like I'm not afraid. I don't mind the feeling. I understand life has certainties and uncertainties and in making movies and living life, what interests me is, let's move the uncertainties more into the certainties, but I want to create other uncertainties so that we're moving forward and it's part of the adventure of it”
